George hated to see her worried over such a thing. Yes, maybe they wouldn’t live to see their twentieth birthday but he hated to think it should disfigure how they lived their lives. Truthfully it was the last thing on his mind when he said such a thing to her. He liked to live like it was any other year in Hogwarts. Fred and he weren’t much for worrying.

"Actually…" He started to grin. "I heard it was a great way to get shagged."

She smiled, soft and sad before she obliged him with an eye roll. "You know what else is a great way to get shagged, being charming." she joked. She looked up at him from the couch, before she chewed lightly on her full bottom lip. Her heart was racing as she did so, watching him as if she were trying to figure something out. 

Dany glanced over at him, "Are you just saying that because you think the world is ending, and none of us are going to make it to see next year? Because you really shouldn't say that just because you think we're going to die George." 

She wanted to say it back, she did, but she could never tell how much of anything was a joke with him. Running the risk of being genuine only to have him laugh, or take it back was something she didn't know she could do.
