Someone once accidentally let a dog in. It was an absolute riot until the cats realized the dog just wanted to lie down under a table.

The customer toilets could double as a bomb shelter, thanks to the fortifications made against some extremely weird cats who like to follow customers into the toilets and stare, demand pettings in exchange for use of the stalls, and one who liked to jump on people's heads from the cistern. (There is actually a bomb shelter/panic room in the basement, but it's mostly filled with Reese's romance novels.)          

That cat with hypoplasia? Was Albert Einstein.

Every year, they have to pick a different window to display their menorah in, because every year, the café nearly burns down because one of the cats knocked it over.

The cats at the café get along pretty well, and have organised a labour union, even though there’s a lot of turnover in their ranks.
