I still need to settle if Kagamiâs wife passed away before or after him. However, taking the premise that she passed away before him, I think Kagami almost left his work and path as a Shinobi. Being father of a child and willing to spend as much time as possible with him in order to teach the child many facts about life and also taking care of a whole house and the tasks entails he didnât have a lot of time left for Shinobi matters.
His son is basically the whole of his world, someone he loves endlessly and thus, leaving his work isnât a big matter if it means to spend more time with him and become his âmentorâ. Nonetheless, Kagami keeps in touch with the issues of his own clan, actively participating in reunions and such. As a personal headcanon, I believe Kagami was the link between Hokage and Uchiha and the reason of why during the time the âknownâ discontent among the clan didnât bloom.Â

I havenât done many good things during my lifetime but discovering my future paternity was probably the best one. Honestly, I always questioned my parenting skills, I was known for my obnoxious demeanor and I wanted to be a good father for my son. No matter how much a learnt before his birth it wasnât usefull. I had to learn it when he was born. But all the effort was worthy.â

Kagami used to be an obnoxious child, he could spend the whole day looking at flowers and wonder what did they have that color and not other one. Kagami enjoyed observing what surrounded him and wonder why it was like that, or what could do him to improve it. He was the kind of little boy that when he fell on the ground didnât cry just stood up and continued playing.Â

From that day on, Kagami Uchiha was known as the first Uchiha who inherited the  "Will of Fire".
