As music fans of many genres, we approach each song as its own world. Marc usually creates the overall feel and structure. With this track, we wanted to have that dichotomy of upbeat music with serious lyrics mirrored with a darker minor progression on the chorus and more upbeat lyrics and melodies. To hopefully capture a bit of how off the world has felt as of late. Bringing Peter back in to rap on the verses and breakdown seemed like a good fit after working with him in the past. He really captured the feel with his lyrics.

really looking forward to getting this song out there along with a lyric video and a bit later this year will be hopefully another concept video as well. Of course, we also have more singles to drop during 2021.

Mirror Point is a dynamic rock duo from North Carolina. A rock outfit at the core with music revolving around the guitars and drums, but as seasoned musicians, we like to see what other feelings and genres we can work into our sound, feeling, and groove.

I do this because...

As a lifelong musician, it is all I know how to do. Music defines my fabric as a human. I was born into a showbiz family and spent my life involved in music in some fashion. At this stage of the game, I can embrace my passion and give it my all. Playing music brings peace and joy to those who play it and consume it. Performing is an experience because be it on stage or on a recording you are opening yourself up to criticism and that is a tough thing to do especially in today's world. But as an artist, it is something you are compelled to do. Music is life as they say.
