Either way, the kids do like to read, though most of itās digital now. The parents do their best to at least have physical books around, but itās 2030s+ soā¦
Arisa prefers nonfiction. She likes fiction perfectly fine but leans towards movies for entertainment, and she shares her blood fatherās thirst for knowledge and knowing everything about everyone. Probably knows too much. Is interested in hacking.
Shura prefers fiction. He has a very vibrant imagination and doesnāt really like schoolwork, and will prefer to mentally run away to fiction. Also likes art, both looking at it and drawing, so likes art books and books that donāt necessarily need words. Also really likes comics.
Yasha likes a good balance of fiction and nonfiction, and when he gets REALLY into something, wonāt put it down and will throw a major tantrum if anyone tries. BUT also has a pretty short attention span so if itās not something that heās into at that particular moment, tossed over the couch it goesā¦
Yuuji will do what he needs to for school eventually (once pouting cutely at his dads can no longer get him out of it) but in general will prefer to run around outside and talk to real people over books. In general is bad at doing anything that requires sitting still for any length of time unless it is eating.
NoĆ© likes to read well enough, but admittedly also likes it because it usually takes a while for anyone to notice that heās turned his reading session into an impromptu napā¦
Saya genuinely likes to read, mostly fiction, but also likes carrying reading material on her at all times so she can hide behind it and look occupied to avoid talking to people. She idolizes Arisa and tries to read the same books as her older sis but theyāre often too difficult and she gets discouraged. Arisa likes taking the time to explain to her though, or find a simpler version if Saya does look like she wants to know whatās going on.
