Synopsis: What if you're Ladybug but also Adrien's ex?
Pairings: Adrien Agreste/Chat Noir x Reader
Note: It's been a while since the last time I updated here in Tumblr. I missed you guys so much.
The moon hung high above Paris tonight, casting a pale light in your bedroom. The night felt heavier than usual, the silence is making your ears ring. You lie curled on your side, face half-buried in the pillow, eyes glassy and red-rimmed. Your chest tightens, breaths uneven, lips trembling as they fight back a sob. Sheets lay tangled around you, the silence finally broken only by a shaky inhale on the edge of tears.
âI'm worried about you, (Y/n).â Tikki spoke, she hovered over your pillow.
Sighing, you raised your gaze to look at your surroundings and your kwami. Tikki is genuinely worried about you. Behind her, itâs evident that youâre moping around your bedroom for a few days now. Your room slightly a mess with some of your pillows off the bed and clothes and papers clutter the floor. âItâs just so hard Tikki.â
It's hard seeing the person whom you loved so much appear in front you after a long time of having no contact. He looked good, too good as if time never touched him at all. He still looks effortlessly put together. His tousled blond hair frames a soft, hesitant yet kind smile. One that lingers in your mind long after heâs gone. And it's true, even though he's gone you can't help but still think about him.
"Are you still thinking about him?" Tikki said softly, landing on your shoulder.
"It's hard for me because it feels like I haven't moved on at all." Maybe it must've been you who was not touched by time at all. Still stuck in the moment where he probably left and moved on. "I thought I was finally doing well, but when I saw him that day... It felt as if my heart broke in pieces again."
For so long, you had tried to let go, to convince yourself that he wasnât yours to hold onto anymore. But then he walked through the school doors, and suddenly, it all came rushing back.
Adrien Agreste, finally here. Finally outside the cage his father had built for himâat least, as much as Gabriel Agreste allowed. He had been given permission to attend school, to make friends, to live just a little more freely. But thatâs all it ever was with him, wasnât it? Permission.
His father had allowed this, but he hadnât allowed you.
That was what stung the most. Adrien had asked to be with you, just like he had asked to go to school. And when his father said no? That was it. He hadnât fought. He hadnât pushed back. He had let their love be another thing controlled, another thing taken from himâexcept it wasnât just taken from him. It was taken from you, too.
"Maybe you just need more time."
It sounded so simple, but how long are you going to wait? Time passing hasn't erased anything but only repressed these feelings you're burdened with. What hurt the most is that being Ladybug was the only thing keeping you together. With the mask on, there was no time to overthink, no space for heartbreak. Every leap across rooftops, every successful lucky charms, every purified akuma gave you a purpose that had nothing to do with the weight in your chest. And with Chat Noir, he somehow helps alleviate the heavy feeling on your chest. His jokes, no matter how ridiculous, pulled a smile from you. The way he trusted you so completely, without hesitation, made it feel like you're not alone.
"I need some air." You sat abruptly.
"Like a patrol? Right now?" Tikki asked
"Yeah, just a quick one. I promise."
After transforming, you quickly went on your way to clear your head through feeling the crisp breeze of the night air while silently hopping across rooftops and eventually settling on one with a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Paris looked peaceful from up here. Timeless, untouched by the chaos of everyday life unless Hawkmoth is still awake at this ungodly hour.
You wished you could feel the same.
Settling onto the edge of the roof, you let out a slow breath, your gaze tracing the winding roads, the tiny specks of people still moving through the city, living their lives. It should have been comforting. This was your Paris, the place you had sworn to protect. But tonight, it only made you feel smaller, like you were watching the world move on without you.
"Rooftop brooding? I thought that was my thing."
You tensed, already knowing who it was before turning. Chat Noir stood a few feet away, arms crossed, his usual smirk in place, but there was something softer in his gaze, something knowing.
You huffed, looking away. "Iâm not brooding."
"Right," he said, stepping closer. "Just dramatically staring at the Eiffel Tower in the dead of night. Totally normal behavior."
You rolled your eyes, but the usual bite wasnât there. Maybe because he wasnât wrong. Maybe because, for all his teasing, he wasnât pushing you to explain. He was just there, as he always was.
Chat Noir sighed, leaning against the ledge beside you. "Rough night?"
You look at him, your eyes are glassy. They lack the usual confidence and spark. Chat Noir doesn't have to second guessed that these eyes cried a river and had no tears left to cry. His gaze softened, but you know he's not the type to pry in your personal problems because the two of you swore that no one could know who you are even the both you as trusted partners. However, the weight of your feelings is clamoring for you to speak up. Pour your heart out for a cathartic bliss.
You hesitated. You could lie, brush it off, change the subject. But what was the point? Heâd see right through you anyway.
"You ever feel likeâŠ" You swallowed, you panned your eyes on the city below. "Like no matter how hard you try to move forward, the past keeps dragging you back?"
Chat was quiet for a moment. Then, in a voice softer than she expected, he said, "Yeah. More than you know."
You turned to look at him, surprised by the weight behind his words. His usual carefree mask had slipped, just a little.
You held his gaze for a second longer than you meant to. There was something unspoken in his eyes, something that made your chest tighten. It wasnât the usual playfulness, the relentless optimism you had come to expect from him. It was understanding. A quiet, aching kind of understanding. Why do you know this?
You looked away first. âItâs just frustrating,â you admitted, gripping your yoyo and tracing your thumb along the details maybe it might help you piece the words youâll say. âI keep telling myself Iâm over it, that Iâve moved on, but thenââ You exhaled sharply, shaking your head. âThen I see him, and itâs like no time has passed at all.â
Chat didnât respond right away, and for a moment, you wondered if you said too much. But then he chuckled, though it was a little hollow.
âYeah. Feelings are annoying like that.â
You glanced glanced at him, catching the way his jaw tensed, how his usual easy smirk faltered just slightly. He wasnât just humoring you. He understood too well.
You hesitated. âThereâs someone, isnât there?â
Chatâs ears twitched, and for the first time that night, he looked caught off guard. âWhat?â
You tilted your head, studying him. âYou speak like someone who knows exactly what I mean.â
He opened his mouth as if to deny it, but then he just sighed, running a gloved hand through his hair. âYeah,â he admitted. âThere is.â
That surprised you more than it should have. Chat Noir had always been flirty, always joking about his âundying loveâ for you. But this? This was different.
You swallowed. âWhat happened?â
Chat shrugged, his smile small and tired. âI let one thing destroy the only thing precious to me.â
You knew that feeling all too well.
For a while, the both of you just sat there, side by side, staring out over the city. No teasing, no banterâjust quiet understanding.

âą synopsis: You just wanted to get a vlog, but ended up getting a little closer to a certain superhero than you expected.
âą A/N: Requested. Also, Iâm not really familiar with the whole akumatized chat noir headcanon that seems to be a thing in the fandom? So I tried my best. ^^;
âHello to all you lovely beans!â you smiled into the camera, âtoday I thought Iâd do a little vlog of Paris! In case you didnât know, I live in Paris. Surprise?â you gave the camera a quirky confused look. âSo without further ado, lessgo!â You stopped the camera, turned the camera to the ground, and filmed you walking out of the door and locking it behind you, because, montage. You continued to film the ground as you walked down the stairs and out into the streets.
You stopped the camera again before turning it to your face. âSo, storytime,â you smiled, âa special thing about Paris is that we have our own superheroes! No, Iâm not talking about Ironman or Aquaman, I mean real people. Ladybug and Chat Noir!â you cried triumphantly, ârecently weâve had a few more superheroes join the mix, Queen Bee, Rena Rouge, and Carapace!â you listed on your fingers, âthese guys protect us from akumatized people.â You tilted your head to the side as you thought about it, âI donât exactly know how people become akumatized, but theyâre always normal citizens. Luckily, Iâve never been akumatized,â you grinned.
âSo yeah! Every now and then weâll see a supervillain being chased by Ladybug or Chat Noir, itâs always super cool and-oh my gosh!â you frantically turned the camera around to catch Chat Noir jumping from rooftop to rooftop followed by Ladybug. When they were out of sight you excitedly turned the camera back around to you, âdid you guys see that?â you asked excitedly, âthat was Chat Noir and Ladybug! They were heading in the direction of the Eiffel Tower, which just so happens to be where I want to take you guys today. So letâs book it and see if we can catch them again!â you smiled excitedly into the camera before you turned it off and stowed it safely into your bag.
Once you were satisfied that everything was secure, you hurried down the street and into the subway station. You quickly scanned your pass to enter the terminal and hopped on one of the trains heading towards the Eiffel Tower. As you waited to arrive, you subtly filmed yourself as you looked out dramatically through the window. Montage.
When you arrived at your stop, you practically leapt out of the train and bounded up the steps. You began to walk towards the Eiffel Tower while trying to avoid as many tourists as you could. You found a rock wall that was away from the main throng of people and leapt onto it to sit on it. âWell,â you declared to your camera once you had it on and facing you, âI donât see them anywhere. Itâs possible that they already defeated the villain, the Eiffel Tower isnât really that close to where I live.â Out of the corner of your eye you noticed someone sit down next to you, but you wanted to finish your thought first, âthey are really good at what they do, so I wouldnât be surprised if theyâre already finished.â
You looked to the person who sat down next to you and nearly had a heart attack, âChat Noir?â you gasped.
âThe one and only,â he grinned.
âWow,â you gaped, âthis is incredible.â
He gave you a cocky smirk, ânot as incredible as you.â
Your jaw dropped, was he...flirting with you? âIâŠâ
âCome on,â he grabbed you by the waist before leaping away, the entire time you were screaming and desperately clutching onto your camera. It was expensive, no way were you going to lose that. He stopped on a rooftop and let you down to your feet.
âWhatâs happening?â you managed to splutter out as you held your head from the motion sickness.
âYou donât like it?â he purred.
Your face turned red at his voice. Yes, you were enjoying time with Chat Noir, but you were extremely confused, and something about him seemed a little...off. âNo! I mean yes! I mean,â you looked at him pleadingly, âIâm confused.â
He leaned against his staff, âwell, this kitty thinks youâre purrfect.â
You stepped back uncomfortably, âthanks? Weâve only just met?â
âThatâs what you think,â he replied with a roguish wink.
âOkay! Thatâs creepy!â you shouted and took multiple steps back, but he just kept on walking forwards. You paused and a realization hit you, âyouâre not really Chat Noir, are you?â
âAnd what makes you say that kitten?â he questioned with a grin.
âBecause Chat Noir would never be as weird as this,â you replied defiantly.
âHow do you know?â his smile was starting to get a little feral and was making you even more uncomfortable. It didnât help that you were on top of a roof. âYouâve never met.â
âYour eyes,â you gasped and you almost wanted to hit yourself for not noticing it earlier.
âWhat about them?â he continued in the same cocky voice.
âTheyâre blue!â
He cocked his head to the side, âtheyâve always been blue.â
âNu-uh!â you cried out defiantly, âChat Noir has green eyes. Heâs kind. Heâs a gentleman. Heâs a superhero. Youâre just a villain!â
His blue eyes narrowed dangerously, âoh, how you wound me.â He took a menacing step forward and you took a couple shaky steps back, âyouâve got it all wrong. This is one hundred percent Chat Noir. You wouldnât know how he is.â
âI know heâs not you!â
âOh really?â his eyes glinted dangerously, âwanna bet? Cataclysme!â he shouted and a deadly black cloud formed in his hand, ânot just anybody would be able to do this.â
âWhat are you going to do with that?â you questioned shakily.
âIâve always wanted to see what it would do to a person,â your heart plunged into your stomach, âbut I wouldnât want to mess up your purrfect face.â Was he complimenting and threatening you at the same time? âI think Iâll try it onâŠâ a red and black yo-yo shot at his face which he easily dodged, âLadybug!â
âStop threatening the civilian!â she commanded.
âMake me!â he responded with a smirk. He ran at her with his hand outstretched, she flawlessly ducked under his hand and used her yo-yo to latch onto his arm and pull it towards a satellite dish, effectively destroying it, and neutralizing a threat.
She skidded to a halt next to you and you questioned, âwhere is the akuma located?â
âI hope itâs his bell,â you nodded as you eyed the golden ball hanging from his neck.
âAnd if itâs not?â
âThen,â she gulped, âitâs his miraculous.â
âLetâs hope itâs the bell then,â you declared, âhold on, Iâve got an idea.â She took a step back as you confidently stood up, âChat Noir?â you asked sheepishly.
He gave you a look that said to go on, but he was still on his guard.
âI think I realize it now, you really are a Prince Charming.â
He grinned and you saw him totally drop his guard, âwell of course I am, my dear purrrincess.â
âCan I, give my Prince a hug?â you questioned nervously, trying to play up the timid little girl trope.
âWell of course mâlady,â he responded with his arms open.
You quickly ran over to him, but instead of going into his arms, you grabbed the bell on his neck, yanked it off, and shouted, âLadybug!â before you threw the golden ball at her. She easily caught it and threw it on the ground before stepping on it. It shattered and a small black butterfly emerged. The two of you sighed in relief.
âNo more evil-doing for you little Akuma,â she opened her yo-yo and spun it around, âtime to de-evilize!â the yo-yo caught the butterfly and she smiled, âgotcha!â she opened the yo-yo and a pure white butterfly emerged, âbye bye little butterfly.â She waved to it before throwing some random tool that she mustâve used earlier into the air, âMiraculous Ladybug!â
Chat Noir was surrounded by a bunch of black and purple bubbles before he sat back in confusion, âhuh? What happened?â
âYou got akumatized!â Ladybug ran over to him.
âWhat?â he asked in shock.
âAnd when I found you, you were terrorizing poor,â she looked over to you for your name.
â(y/n).â You smiled.
He looked ashamed of himself, âIâm so sorry.â
âItâs all right, you were akumatized.â You smiled reassuringly, âI knew it wasnât really you.â
âWell,â Ladybug clapped her hands and looked at you, âletâs get you back to where you need to be.â
You glanced down at your camera, âif you could drop me off at a subway station?â you decided your vlog in Paris would wait for another day. Besides, you had a storytime idea.
**UPDATE** Rise of Ladybug and Cat Noir: Chapter 1 (Revised)
I haven't updated this fic in over a year, and my writing style has changed a lot since then, in addition to certain plot points that I wanted to change around. I'll be revising chapter 2 soon, and I plan on starting new chapters and posting my character designs at some point after that. The fic starts under the cut. Enjoy :)

âDonât be bemused, itâs just the news! Iâm Nadja Chamack, and today a most tragic incident has occurred. Emilie Agreste, the wife of world-renowned fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, has been officially reported missing. Mrs. Agreste disappeared while on vacation with her husband, and we have no knowledge of her current whereabouts. When taken into police custody for questioning, Gabriel Agreste had no additional information-â
Gabriel shut off the television, unable to continue listening. How many times had he rewatched the broadcast over the last 5 months, searching for any details he might have missed about his wifeâs disappearance?Â
He strode across his office and studied a book he found during one of his previous travels with his wife, one of the only things he had left of her. He frantically paged through the book searching for anything that would bring him some sort of closure. Frustrated, he threw the book to the ground, adding to the myriad of his broken possessions strewn across the room. Gabriel had every intent to storm out of his office before something familiar caught his eye.
Gabriel walked over and picked up the book he had carelessly thrown to the side. He studied an image of an ancient superhero. The man in the drawing wore an outfit of dark purple and stood holding a matching cane. Gabriel went to discard the book again before his face lit up with recognition. He quickly rummaged through drawers before he pulled out a brooch identical to the one worn by the man in the drawing. He attached the brooch to his suit jacket, and for a moment, nothing happened. Then, there was a great flash of purple light and a strange butterfly-like creature appeared. The creature looked at Gabriel and began to speak.
âHow may I serve you, Master?â
Wayzz woke from his meditation and gasped.
â It canât be,â he mumbled to himself before leaving the miracle box and rushing towards Master Fu, who sat outside meditating.Â
âMaster,â called Wayzz as he flew in front of the manâs face, âThe strangest thing has happened.â
âWhat is it, Wayzz?â the old man asked.
âItâs the butterfly miraculous, Master. I believe it is here in Paris.â
âThe butterfly miraculous?â he said, eyes widening, âI thought it had been lost forever.â
âThereâs something else, Master,â said Wayzz, âI felt a negative aura. I believe it has fallen into the wrong hands.â
Fu stood.
âWe must find Nooroo and his miraculous at once. Who knows what evils will occur as long as heâs in the wrong hands.â
âPlease be reasonable, Master,â Wayzz said urgently, âYou are not as young as you once were. You will not be able to do this alone.â
âIâm only 186 years old,â said Master Fu irritably, âBut you are right, Wayzz. I cannot do this alone. I need help.â
Master Fu retrieved the miracle box from its hiding place, before grabbing two pieces of magical jewelry; a pair of polka dot earrings, and a black ring.
âAre you sure about this, Master,â asked Wayzz, âThis may not be wise. We cannot risk another miraculous falling into the wrong hands. Especially one as powerful as the ladybug or the black cat.â
âI have no choice, Wayzz. The butterfly miraculous is in use again, and Iâm sure it has fallen into the wrong hands. Iâm much too old to do this alone anymore,â
Master Fu grabbed a small jewelry box and quickly left his apartment.
âMarinette! Your alarm has been going off for the past fifteen minutes! Youâre going to be late for school,â called Sabine from downstairs.
âComing, Mama,â said Marinette as she slid from under the covers.
Marinette climbed from her loft bed and gazed at her reflection in her bedroom mirror. Her dark hair was messy, and her gray eyes were hazy and half-lidded from sleep. She freshened herself up and joined her mother in the kitchen.
âItâs a big day today, Marinette,â said Sabine as she poured herself a glass of orange juice, âYour first day of high school. Youâll get a fresh new start.â
âFour years in a row? That seems pretty unlikely,â
Marinette shrugged and lazily stirred her cereal as her father walked into the kitchen holding a tray of freshly baked macaroons.
âThose are awesome, papa!â Marinette said as she saw the pastries, âIâm sure my new classmates will love these.â
âGlad you like them,â said Tom with a crinkled eye smile, âBut I couldnât have made them without the help of your amazing designs.â
âThanks, Papa,â Marinette said, grabbing her school bag, âSee you tonight,â she called before rushing downstairs.
As Marinette exited the bakery, the street was much busier than usual. She checked her phone and sighed when she saw she only had five minutes to get to school before the bell rang. So much for a fresh start.Â
The light finally changed and Marinette began crossing the street with the other passengers. Suddenly, a car began speeding down the street, paying no attention to the pedestrians crossing the street.
It was chaos. People were scrambling in all directions, trying to avoid the speeding car.
Marinette began to run, but she noticed a short old man wearing a red floral shirt struggling to cross the street. She made a split-second decision, and jumped in front of the man, pushing him to safety.
âAre you alright sir?â she asked .
The man nodded and helped Marinette gather the things that had fallen out of her school bag.
âThat was a very brave thing you just did,â he said, âFew people would have done that.â
Before she could come up with a response, the old man stood up, grabbed his cane, and hobbled away.
Marinette looked and saw her box of macaroons had been trampled during the chaos. She checked her phone and realized she was already five minutes late for homeroom. Awesome.
Luckily, since it was only the first day of school, Marinette was far from the last one in the classroom, and was able to slip into an empty seat without a scolding from her new teacher. She had barely settled into her new seat before a perfectly manicured hand slammed onto the table in front of her.
âMarinette Dupain-Cheng,â called the voice from above her.
âWhat I want is you out of my seat. Adrien is coming today, and since that is going to be his seat,â she pointed to the empty spot beside Marinette, âThis is going to be my seat.â
Marinette looked at her, confused.
âWhoâs Adrien?â she asked, âAnd where is he?â
âCan you believe she doesnât know who Adrien is? What kind of rock have you been living under, Dupain-Cheng?â
âHeâs only a super famous model,â Sabrina said.
Marinette looked down at the table, ashamed. Was she supposed to know who this Adrien was?
âWhy don't you get out of my seat and go sit with four eyes over there?â said Chloe, âYou donât deserve to sit next to Adrien if you donât even know who he is.â
âWho elected you class president,â said a new voice.
Marinette looked up and saw a girl with black glasses and ombre red hair that complimented her dark skin.
âYou look like youâre new around here, so Iâll let you off with a warning,â she said, âMy daddy is the mayor of this city. I run this school. You and Dupain-Cheng should take my advice and sit in those seats over there unless you want to get expelled on your first day.â
âNo worries, girl,â she said, reaching out her hand, âIâm Alya.â
Marinette smiled and shook her hand.
âMarinette.â
She opened the box of macaroons and saw that only one was left intact.
âFriends?â she asked, offering one half to Alya.
Alya smiled as she took it.
âFriends.â
Adrien checked his watch irritably as he arrived at the school. It was his first day at a normal school and he was already running late. He didnât want to start off with a bad first impression. He was already in enough trouble as it was sneaking off to school without his fatherâs permission, and he didnât much like the idea of being caught by his bodyguard before he even entered school grounds. He glanced back at his watch. He had five minutes. He tightened his grip on his bag and rushed up the street, before abruptly crashing into something, and spilling the contents of his school bag all over the pavement. Adrien curses under his breath and starts to gather his things before he ground before he looks up at what he bumped into.
In his line of vision was a short Chinese man, who was sprawled on the ground with his cane a few feet away from him. Adrien took a moment to inspect the manâs strange attire; a red Hawaiian shirt, and tan cargo shorts. As he analyzed the old man, Adrien realized that his belongings had also been thrown across the pavement due to their collision. Before Adrien was able to finish gathering his things, he spotted two familiar figures running up to him; his bodyguard and his fatherâs assistant, Nathalie.
âAdrien, what are you doing out here? Your fatherâs been worried sick,â Nathalie said disapprovingly, âGather you things and get in the car. Youâre returning home immediately.âÂ
Adrien felt a sudden flash of anger at the old man, who was still struggling to stand without his cane.
âThanks a lot, old man,â he said before sweeping the rest of his belongings in his bag, and grabbing the cane off the ground, shoving it harshly in the manâs direction.
âThank you, young man,â said the old man, as he grabbed his cane and gathered his fallen belongings.
Adrien didnât respond as he angrily got into the car before it sped off.
Adrien had never considered himself afraid of his father. Sure, when he disobeyed his rules, which tended to happen more often than not these days, his father could become quite strict and irritable, but never to the point where Adrien had felt fear. But now, as he stood across from his father, he understood why others were so often intimidated by Gabriel Agreste. As he stood, waiting patiently for his father to speak, he took the time to analyze his father. With a jolt, he realized how little he had seen of his father in the past few months following his motherâs disappearance. He noticed his fatherâs blond hair, which had grown much more gray than what he remembered, his crisp white suite that blended perfectly with the stark white that donned his office, and the thick glasses that framed his cold, calculating gray eyes. After what felt like an eternity, his father finally addressed him.
âAdrien, I have already told you countless times. You are not going to school. I thought I made myself clear.â
Adrien suddenly felt very small.
âBut fatherââ
âBut nothing, Adrien,â his father interrupted coldly, âEverything you need is in this house where I can keep an eye on you. You have no reason to be outside in that dangerous world.â
âItâs not dangerous, Father,â Adrien pleaded, âIâve always been stuck here by myself. Why canât I just go to school and be normal like everyone else?â
âBecause youâre not like everyone else! You are my son!â Gabriel said sharply, âDo you have any more unreasonable requests, or can I return to my office?â
âNo, father,â Adrien said, refusing to meet Gabrielâs eyes.
Gabriel crossed the room, coming closer towards Adrien before placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.
âI know that I may seem strict and unreasonable at times, Adrien, but you must know that Iâm doing this to keep you safe. Everything I do is for your own good. Do you understand that, Adrien?â
Adrien looked up to meet his fatherâs gray eyes, which, suddenly, didn't seem so cold and distant.
âYes, father,â he said at last.
To his fatherâs dismay, Adrien had not changed his mind after their talk the previous day. He made sure to sneak out much earlier than he had the day before, and was able to slip out of the manor undetected. As he snuck through the silent halls of the manor, Adrien felt a pang of guilt as he spotted his father asleep at his office desk through the wide open doors. He knew that his father worked tirelessly to give him the best life he could, but, as he had come to realize over the past several months, his father didnât always know best, and Adrien needed to be able to make some decisions for himself. Adrien tore his eyes away from the father and quickly snuck out of the manor before he could be caught.
This time, Adrien was able to enter the school without being caught by his bodyguard, or being knocked over by another old man. The thought of the man from yesterday caused a flash of anger. He was sure he wouldnât have been caught by Nathalie if he hadnât slowed him down. Adrien swallowed his anger and entered the classroom.Â
âHeâs only a super famous model, and the son of Gabriel Agreste, my all-time favorite fashion designer! I canât believe I didnât recognize his name before!â
âWhat exactly are you two doing,â he asked as he walked over.
âThose girls that sat here yesterday need a little adjustment to their attitude,â she said, âIâm simply demanding a bit of respect, thatâs all.â
âIs it necessary to put gum on their seat?â he asked raising his eyebrow, âThat seems pretty immature to me,â
âOh, Adrikins. You have a lot to learn about how things run around here. Some people are born to be at the top, while others are meant to stay beneath us. Those two brats need to remember their place.â
Adrien rolled his eyes at her.
âYouâre acting like a toddler,â he said as he tried picking the gum off of the seat.
The second day of school started off a lot more smoothly for Marinette. She had actually woken up before her alarm and even had time to eat breakfast before going off to school. For a mere second, she could have sworn she saw the old man she had run into the day before, but as soon as she blinked, he was gone.
âThatâs odd,â she thought to herself before continuing on her way to school. As she walked up to the school, Marinette quickly spotted Alya standing at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for her. The girls had quickly become friends after spending the first day of school together and they were practically attached at the hip.
âHey, girl,â Alya called, waving her over.
Marinette waved back, and the two girls walked into the school together.
âReady for another exciting day of school?â asked Alya with a sly grin.
âOh, I get it,â Marinette said, narrowing her eyes, âGreat job, you three. Very funny.â
Adrien stood up and glared down at her.
âActually, I was just trying to take the gum off your seat,â he said with an icy tone, âYou should be grateful that I went out of my way to help you,â
âWell, in that case, it sounds like you need new friends, dude. Iâm Nino.â
Adrien shook his hand gratefully and showed him a rare smile as Miss Bustier walked into the room to start class. He was right. His father didnât always know best.
Prompt: An ML imagine where the reader is friends with Alya and transferred into the school, and everyone keeps insisting sheâs ladybug, until finally a fight breaks out and ladybug comes and everyone feels foolish.

You sigh, it wasnât your secret to tell, and as long as the questions stopped, you saw no reason to out a secret identity. After all, even Parisâ heros were entitled to a little privacy.
âHey (y/n)!â Juleka called and you ran over to the dark haired girl.
âWhatâs up?â you questioned when you got close enough to her and Rose.
âWeâre gonna practice tonight,â she told you, then looked at you quizzically, âyou coming?â
âOf course!â you answered with a smile, âmiss my favorite band? No way!â
Rose smiled, âare we really your favorite band?â
âAre you sure youâre not biased?â Juleka teased with a grin.
You sheepishly rubbed the back of your neck, âmaybe a little.â Your family had been friends with the Couffaines for as long as you could remember, so it was a given that you were best friends with the Couffaine kids, Juleka and Luka. Plus, the fact that you harbored a huge crush on Luka didnât help your case that you werenât biased. âWhen do you guys think youâre going to get a gig?â
âWe are going to be participating in the upcoming music festival.â Rose told you.
âWhat?â you gasped and looked at your two friends with wide eyes, âno way! Thatâs so awesome! When were you going to tell me?â
âHaha, oops.â Juleka sheepishly commented.
âShould we get going now?â Rose asked. You and Juleka nodded and the three of you walked towards the Couffaine residence.
...
âMom Iâm home!â Juleka called out as she dropped her bag onto the floor, âRose and (y/n) are with me!â
âOkay!â Julekaâs mom replied.
âWeâve got a couple hours to kill right? We could knock out our homework.â You suggested. Unlike Juleka, you and Rose still had your bags on.
âThatâs true.â She nodded and picked her bag up, âweâll go to my room.â You and Rose nodded and followed Juleka to her room. On your way to her room, you passed by Lukaâs room.
âKnock knock.â You called as you knocked on the door frame. The door was slightly ajar and you could see Luka inside.
His eyes opened and his gaze fell upon you, âhey (y/n).â
âJust wanted to say hi.â You smiled, âweâre gonna do homework before you guys practice.â
âHey, you wanna see something cool?â he asked and beckoned you to come into his room.
âSure.â You nodded and pushed the door open. He went to his collection of picks and pulled out one of them from itâs spot on the wall. He then put it in your hand so you could see.
You gasped, âno way.â
âYes way.â He grinned.
âYou got one of the limited edition Jagged Stone picks?â You asked as you examined the small piece of plastic, âthatâs insane! Howâd you get it?â
He pretended to nonchalantly shrug, âjust a friend.â
âThatâs so cool!â you gushed. You werenât exactly a guitar player, but you did keep up with what was happening in the music world. If only to keep up with what Luka was talking about.
â(y/n)!â you heard your name being called, âweâre going to start our homework without you!â Rose shouted.
You blanched, Ms. Mendeleev gave some hard homework for tonight and you did not want to miss help with that. âSorry, Iâve got to go.â You gave him back his pick, âIâll talk to you later though!â you waved at him before you darted to Julekaâs room.
âWhat were you doing with my brother?â Juleka teased with a knowing look.
âHe was just showing me his Jagged Stone pick.â You answered with your face buried in your bag as you looked for your homework and to hide your blush.
âWhat really?â Juleka gasped, âhe hasnât even shown me that!â
âWait what?â you asked in confusion and you looked out of your bag to face her, âseriously?â
âHe must really like you then.â Rose grinned.
âThatâs very kind of him.â You answered nonchalantly but buried your head in your bag again.
âDoes (y/n) have a crush?â Rose cooed.
âNot so loud!â you shushed her and worriedly looked at the closed door to Julekaâs room.
âSo you do!â Rose squealed and you winced as she did the exact opposite of what you wanted her to do.
âI donât!â you vehemently tried to argue back, but it wasnât doing much good. Roseâs love radar was up and active.
âAnd itâs on my brother.â Juleka looked at you in shock.
âNo, no, itâs not.â You desperately tried to calm the situation down.
Juleka smiled, âweâre totally setting the two of you up.â
âPlease donât.â You hid your face in your hands.
âYou guys would be so cute together!â Rose gushed.
âGuys.â You whined, âdonât we have homework to do?â
âNu-uh, this is more important.â Juleka replied and shoved all of your books and notes aside.
You groaned and fell onto the ground, âwhy? Ms. Mendeleev will be furious if we donât do our homework! And you have practice later today.â
âShe has a point.â Juleka nodded and Rose sullenly agreed.
âBut donât think weâre forgetting about this!â Rose brightened up. You just groaned.
...
âI just realized something,â Luka sat down next to you.
âHuh?â you asked him dumbfounded, had he already figured out that you had a massive crush on him? You had only come to terms with it a couple hours ago.
âYou always come to our practices.â He remarked thoughtfully.
You silently let out a sigh of relief, but then resisted the urge to hit the black and blue haired boy. He just now realized that? âWell of course I do. You guys are my favorite band! So Iâm going to show my support!â you grinned.
âYour favorite band?â he looked down at you dubiously but you could tell he was laughing on the inside, âand thereâs nothing biased about that statement.â
âJuleka said the exact same thing.â You whined, âmaybe itâs a little biased.â
âA lot biased!â Rose shouted with a grin. Your eyes widened and you glared at her with your hand up to your neck in the universal sign that you were going to kill her when this entire thing was done.
He laughed as he clearly saw the sign you gave Rose, âwell anyways. Iâm glad to have you here supporting us.â He stood up, âI should go help set up. Talk to you later.â He waved.
As soon as he was out of earshot you turned to Rose, âRose Iâm going to kill you!â
âWhat why?â she asked in shock, âI havenât done anything yet!â
â(y/n)! I need your help!â Juleka called. You ran over to her, âcan you help hang this up?â she handed you a roll of streamers.
âWhy do you need this up?â you asked and held it up.
âBecause of the aesthetic.â She answered simply then patted the ladder next to you.
You sighed, you still didnât understand but she knew what she was doing. You climbed onto the steps of the ladder as she held the ladder. You were starting to tape up the streamers when the ladder suddenly shook and you lost balance and fell off the ladder. You screamed and shut your eyes in preparation to his the ground when you realized you didnât hit anything hard, but you had stopped falling. You opened up an eye and was met with blue. âOh, hi Luka.â You stuttered.
He let you down back on your feet, âyou should be more careful, you couldâve died.â He lectured.
âBlame Juleka, she was the one holding the ladder.â You muttered as you glared at said person. Said person just gave you a grin and waved.
âI guess you could say she fell for you!â Rose called from across the room.
You spun around and was about to really kill Rose when Luka laughed, âI canât disagree with that.â
âIn more ways than one.â You mumbled but then clasped your hands over your mouth in shock.
âYou,â Luka looked at you in shock, âlike me?â
âOf course I do,â you tried to wave off your blunder, âwho wouldnât like you? Youâre totally awesome!â
âShe like-likes you!â Rose yelled out again.
You felt your eye twitch as you continued to smile at Luka. Rose was really asking for it. âThatâs good.â Luka smiled and the atmosphere seemed to have softened, âbecause I like-like you too.â
âHuh?â your jaw dropped, were you hearing things correctly?
âThat was lame,â he sighed, âI really like you too.â He told you.
âUh, me too.â You stuttered. You were mentally berating yourself, normally you were fine around Luka, but now you suddenly have a frog in your mouth?
âSo you wonât mind if IâŠâ he trailed off and leant down to capture your lips in a kiss. Once you realized what was happening, you stood up on your tiptoes to meet him halfway.
âNo, I donât mind.â You smiled. The two of you stood there for awhile. Foreheads touching and arms wrapped around each other. You suddenly broke off when you heard cheering though. Mainly from Rose. âDo you mind if I go kill her?â you asked softly.
âSheâs our lead singer. I canât let you do that.â He answered equally soft.
âShame.â He laughed and captured your lips in another kiss.

âYou look horrible,â the words tumbled from your lips before you could stop yourself when you entered Lukaâs room. For a lot of the day the two of you have been texting back and forth, him complaining about being sick, you complaining about school. So as soon as the school day ended, you joined Juleka and the two of you headed to her houseboat. Their mom was delighted to see you and gave you a hug before sending you to Lukaâs room with a bowl of soup in your hands. âI mean that in the most loving way possible,â you hastily added onto your sentence after Luka gave you a sour look from his cocoon of blankets.
It was your first thought for a reason. Even in the dimly lit room (his blinds were shut as far as they could go) and him hiding in the corner, you could practically see the bags under his swollen eyes. His nose was pink from all of the tissues he used and you could still hear him sniffling. âWhat did you do?â you asked gently as you placed the hot soup bowl onto the desk next to his bed.
âNo idea,â was his nasally response as he pulled himself to sit upright on his bed. You let out a hum as you sat down on the bed next to him and rubbed at his blanket covered head, he looked tiny and you couldnât help it. âIâm glad to see you though.â
âYou couldâve just asked for a picture,â you teased with a grin.
âI have seen more than enough photos of the underside of your chin and your nostrils,â he teased with a snort that was followed up with him blowing his nose into a tissue and dropping the used tissue into the full trash bin that he pulled next to his bed.
You let out a sound of mock offense as you pulled your hand away from his head to place it upon your heart, âexcuse you, those are a work of art!â
âYouâre right, it is.â He cheesily grinned back, looking quite proud of his comeback.
You let out an embarrassed sound and covered your face, âno, I was being sarcastic.â You whined and fell onto your side, not expecting him to agree with your statement. âI look awful in those photos.â
âNot to me.â You peeked between your fingers to see him continuing to look at you with that goofy, almost love-struck grin of his. As much as you disliked your embarrassment, seeing him look that happy made up for it, especially as his mom reported to you that heâs been a little lifeless all day. You didnât blame him, whatever he caught seemed to be taking a brutal toll on him.
âYouâre too cheesy,â you told him as you leaned forward to give him a tap on the nose and leaning past him to grab the soup bowl on the table.
He let out a loud, long groan when he noticed the liquid that you were holding, âI donât need anymore!â
You let out a pout as you stirred the soup a little to remove the cold film that was forming on top, âyour mom said you barely touched it earlier.â
He let out another groan before falling back onto his bed, bringing the blankets with him, âbecause Iâm not hungry!â
You raised an eyebrow at him in a challenge, recognizing how childish he sounded, âdo you want me to spoon feed you like a baby?â
He eyed you from his laying position on his bed, his blue eyes barely peeking out over the blankets that he wrapped around to his chin, âdonât you dare.â
âThen sit up and eat your soup like a man.â He let out a grunt and pulled the blankets over his face.
Fine, if he was going to play hard to get, then so would you. You placed the bowl back on his table and it made a soft âthunk.â âAll right, Iâll see you when you get better Luka.â You bade him your farewell as you stood up from his bed.
The blankets were thrown off his face and he looked at you with puppy dog eyes, âbut you just got here.â
âAnd youâre not eating your soup.â You scolded as you made your way across the room.
With a shocking amount of urgency for someone who looked to be the equivalent of a slug, he leaned over to the bowl of soup on his bed and took a spoonful, âokay, okay, Iâm eating it!â you smiled as you stopped walking to watch him hastily feed himself the warm liquid. Seeing as he was indeed making an attempt at finishing what was in the bowl, you made your way back to your seat on his bed.
It wasnât long until he finished the bowl and he placed it back on the table, âhappy?â he asked sullenly, still sounding childish.
âYes,â you replied with a smile as you wrapped your arms around him and his blankets in a hug.
âCan I get a kiss?â he asked and made kissy faces to you while turning his head towards your own.
âNo!â you let out a shriek of laughter as you moved away from him, âIâm gonna get sick!â
âBut I ate the soup like you wanted!â he pouted before managing to get on his knees and fall onto your chest with a large âwhump.â Blanket cocoon and all.
You continued to laugh as you tried to keep his face away from yours, him still trying to lay a kiss on you. âIf I get sick this is your fault!â you yelped as you tried to push his face away with your hands.
âYou wonât get sick.â He replied easily as the two of you continued to wrestle with each other. âYour immune system is better than mine.â You let out a sigh when it seemed like he wasnât going to let up and let him kiss you on the cheek.
âYou missed,â you told him before leaning up to plant a kiss on his slightly chapped lips. You werenât going to lie, you definitely missed him during the day, so this was just you getting back all of the affection that you missed during the day.
âRemember, you said I wonât get sick,â you teased as the two of you broke apart, foreheads resting against each other.
"And once again Ladybug and Chat Noir save the day!" you looked in awe at the two superheroes on your TV. They were amazing and pretty much your idols. I mean, why wouldn't they be your idols? They save Paris practically every day!
"Man, how cool would it be if I got to meet them! Especially Chat Noir." You felt your face heat up as you thought of a certain cat superhero, "ahh!" you held your cheeks in your hands and tossed and turned. "I don't have a crush on him." You tried to deny, "for all I know he could be a thirty year old man!"
'You know that doesn't make sense.' Your brain told you, 'he's got way too much energy for a thirty year old man.'
"He's just very active." You argued.
'His voice is a little high.'
"Thirty year old men can have high voices. Ugh! I need some fresh air." You practically threw yourself off of your bed and made your way up the stairs to the roof of the apartment complex your family was living in. You pushed open the heavy metal door to the roof and exited to the cool fresh air. You made your way to the wall on the edge of the roof and let your arms dangle off while you leaned on the wall. Many stories below, you could see cars going and people going through their daily lives. Across the street you saw someone through their window and gave them a cheery wave. They gave a half-hearted wave in return. "Hah, maybe if I created a Chat Noir blog, like Alya's Ladyblog that'd give me an excuse to stalk him. No!" you violently shook your head, "that's weird!"
"What's weird?" you shrieked when you heard the new voice and spun around to look at the roof with your back pressed up against the wall.
"Chat Noir." You couldn't help it as the words tumbled out of your mouth.
"That's me." He grinned, "now what's weird?"
"Ahahaha, nothing, nothing at all." You waved off his question and looked away to try and hide the red glow on your cheeks, "absolutely nothing. Did I mention that it was nothing weird? Yeah, there's nothing weird."
"So what are you doing up here?" he asked and casually walked to where you were standing. Stunned, you watched him walk towards you then sit up on the wall next to you.
"Don't fall off please." You mumbled but then remembered he asked you a question. "Oh! I'm just getting some fresh air up here. It was getting stuffy downstairs." You turned away from him and pressed your hands to your cheeks. Yup, they were burning.
He nodded, "I can see why. All of the people and the cars and tourists. It's not a bad place though."
"Of course not. Just, sometimes you need to get away from it all." You gazed out at the scenery below you again, "what's it like?"
"What's what like?" he questioned in surprise.
"Being a superhero? All of Paris looks up to you." You mused.
He awkwardly laughed, "oh I'm sure not all of Paris. I'm sure all of Paris looks up to Ladybug though." He added quietly.
You looked to your side to see the dejected cat next to you, "if it's any consolation, I prefer you over Ladybug." You grinned.
"You don't need to say that just to make me feel better." He avoided your gaze.
"But it's true!" you protested. You placed your hands on the wall and sat up next to him. The more you talked with him the more you realized how easy it was to talk to him. For a few moments you could forget that he was a celebrity and you were star struck by him and harbored a major crush. "You always have Ladybug's back, I can tell that you're incredibly loyal. Plus, you're super strong! I couldn't imagine being in your position and getting beat up by akumatized villains practically every day."
He looked at you with a smile and you could see his green eyes up close, "thanks." There was a beeping sound and both of your eyes widened. "Oh no, I've got to go. Can I meet you here tomorrow? Same time?" he asked as he stood up on the wall.
"I'll be waiting for you, kitty." You grinned. He smiled back and jumped off to who knows where.
Red-Faced and Running Away (Luka Couffaine x Reader)
Fandom: Miraculous Ladybug
Pairing: Luka Couffaine x fem! Reader
Your head nodded along with the music coming from your ear buds. It was the music from one of the coolest people in your school (aside from Adrien, but he's a couple years below so that doesn't count). Luka Couffaine.
"Hey (y/n), (y/n). (y/n)!" a hand tapped you on your shoulder and you jolted to look at the person who was trying to get your attention.
"Oh hey (f/n)." You pulled the ear buds off, "what's up?"
(f/n) smiled slyly at you, "are you listening to a certain blue haired boy's music."
"So what if I am?" you retorted.
"Hey Luka!" (f/n) shouted and waved a hand to get said person's attention.
"What are you doing?" you hissed and grabbed onto (f/n)'s hand to stop them from waving it around. They just ignored your protest and waved with their other hand.
Luka noticed and started to walk over to the two of you, "hey guys. What's up?"
"(y/n) was just listening to your music, and she was just telling me how awesome your music was. Right?" (f/n) looked at you and nudged your shoulder.
"Eep." You declared and hid behind (f/n).
Luka laughed, "well thanks for the support (y/n). I'm going to go hide from fangirls now if that's alright."
"Of course, see you later!" (f/n) waved and Luka disappeared to who knows where. "Girl!" (f/n) scolded and turned to you, "why are you hiding from him?"
"He's just so awesome! He's on an entirely different level from me. No way I could talk to a guy like him!" you explained.
"But he talked to you, so..."
"Let's just get to class." You turned away from her and hurried to your class.
(f/n) ran up next to you and sang in your ear, "(y/n) and Luka sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-"
"What are you, 10?" you demanded but your face was definitely a bit redder than it was before.
...
"Luka!" you and (f/n) were sitting down to eat lunch when (f/n) practically screamed Luka's name across the cafeteria.
"What are you doing?" you asked in a hushed panic, "you can't invite him! I turn into a nervous wreck every time I'm even near him!"
"Oh look, he's coming over." (f/n) smiled, "and it looks like he's bringing his food too."
"Hi (y/n), hi (f/n)." Luka greeted and sat down across from you, "how's your day been?"
You froze and you could definitely feel your face heat up, "I- excuse me." You stuttered before running out of the cafeteria.
"Does she hate me?" Luka asked (f/n) worriedly.
"Of course she doesn't," (f/n) reassured him, "she's just a blubbering adorable mess when you're around her."
Luka let out a small laugh, "cute."
...
It was after school and all you wanted to do was to go home and relax...and definitely ignore your homework for as long as possible. "Hey (y/n)!" your head jolted up as you heard your name be called. You looked around and your face almost paled when you realized it was Luka who was waving to get your attention.
"I, uh," you quickly turned away from him and ran down the street. Hopefully he didn't see you look back at him. You ran around the corner and hid against it, after a few moments of nobody running past the corner looking for you, you breathed a sigh of relief.
You felt your phone buzz in your pocket and you fumbled to get it out, it was (f/n), 'where are you!' the text read.
'Oops, I'm on my way home already.' You texted a reply as you carefully navigated yourself through the streets of Paris without hitting people.
'What? You ditched me! Do I smell a betrayal?'
'No! No! Of course not!' you sent a panicked text in reply, 'I'm just running away from Luka.'
'Why? You're going to scare him away!' you could practically see (f/n)'s chastising face.
'If anything, he's the one scaring me away!'
'Well don't! He likes you, so don't push him away! I know you like him back!' You froze. Did (f/n) mean what you thought she meant? Did Luka like you? As in more than a friend?
'Do you mean like-like or just like as a friend?' you had to confirm what they said. You refused to get your hopes up.
'I didn't say anything!'
'Uh...yeah you did, just look at the text message history. What are you hiding (f/n)?'
'Nothing! Listen I've got to go, talk to you later!'
'(f/n) wait! You can't just leave me hanging!' you let out a frustrated sigh as she stopped responding. They left you on 'read' for crying out loud. "Darn you (f/n)." You grumbled and kicked a can that was just lying on the ground, "getting my hopes up like that."
...
"You! Have some explaining to do!" you nearly shouted in (f/n)'s face the next day.
"What is it?" (f/n) asked nonchalantly as they ate a protein bar.
"You said Luka likes me?"
(f/n) choked on their protein bar and you were feeling merciless that morning, so you let them struggle without offering any help. "Um, no. I did not. Hey look there he is, why don't you just ask him yourself? Luka!" they shouted and once again you were in the situation as you attempted to stop their furious waving around to spare you some embarrassment.
"Oh my god (f/n)!" you whined and hid behind them, "spare me some embarrassment today!"
"Too late!" they whispered cheekily, "how are you today Luka?"
"Alright." He shrugged, "did you not hear me yesterday (y/n)?" he tried to lean around (f/n) to talk to you.
"No?" you squeaked before running away from (f/n) and Luka.
"And you're sure she likes me?" Luka asked dubiously as he watched you run away.
"Luka!" there was another voice calling out his name and he tried to conceal a wince.
"More fangirls?" (f/n) asked.
Luka sighed, "wish me luck."
"Luck."
...
"I just came to a realization." You declared the moment (f/n) sat down next to you.
"That you like Luka back and are too scared to admit it?" (f/n) asked without missing a beat.
"Yes, but that's not the main thing."
"Okay-hold up!" they turned their entire body to look directly at you, "did you just verbally admit that you are head over heels in love with Luka Couffaine and that you are way to shy and scared to even talk to him let alone admit it to his face?"
You hesitated, "maybe? That's not what I want to talk about though!"
"Okay, I'm listening."
"Why does Luka spend so much time with us? He has hordes of other fangirls to deal with. He's practically a celebrity at our school!"
"Because he likes hanging out with us?" (f/n) turned away from you and mumbled something under their breath.
"Wait what did you say?"
"Nothing!"
"What is it!" you shouted and nearly grabbed their shoulders to shake them.
"I promised I wouldn't tell!"
"Promised who!"
"It's a secret!"
"Ugh!" you let yourself fall onto the desk in front of you.
"Just hear him out okay?" (f/n) looked at you consolingly, "he's been trying to talk to you for a reason."
"You know me, I'm too shy to talk to him." You whined.
"I will hold you by force if need be." (f/n) threatened, and you could tell by the steely glint in their eyes that they weren't joking.
"O-Oh. Okay."
"After school today, you have to promise me that."
You sighed, "I promise."
"Pinky promise?"
"What are you, ten?"
...
"Oh hey! There he is!" (f/n) brightened up as she saw the blue-eyed boy you were nervously avoiding for the past few days. They turned to you with a serious look on their face, "I am going to call him over and you are going to stay here. Got it?"
"Yup." You looked away from (f/n) and nervously shifted your weight.
"Luka!" (f/n) screeched and waved their hand around. To be honest, you were almost glad this whole thing was about to be over, you were tired of (f/n) screeching and waving and you running away. That didn't mean you were any less nervous to be around him. You were just looking forward to getting this over with.
Luka grinned as he walked over, "are you going to run away again (y/n)?"
"No." You muttered and looked at your feet who were urging to sprint in the other direction.
"Wait really?" you could hear shock and was that excitement (?) in his voice, "awesome!"
"(f/n) said you wanted to say something?" you were still forcibly making eye contact with the toes of your shoes.
"Yeah, so um." You heard him laugh nervously, "I think you're really cute (y/n)."
"Eh?" your head shot up to look at him. He didn't look like he was lying, and his face definitely looked a little redder than it normally did. Not that you were obsessively watching his music videos and watching his face whenever he appeared. Cough cough.
"Um," he coughed, "so, would you like to get some ice cream together?"
"Like a- are you? A? Friends? Date? Wha?" you stuttered out. Were you hearing this correctly? Did your celebrity crush just tell you that you were cute and asked you to get ice cream together?
"Yeah like a date." He avoided looking at you and fixated his gaze on the concrete next to you.
"This is the part where you say yes!" you heard a hushed yell behind you and whipped around to see (f/n) hiding in the bushes.
"Wait-how did you get there? When did you get there?"
"Just say yes you dork!"
"Uh," you hesitated and looked back at Luka, "sure."
"Really?" his face brightened as he looked away from the ground back to you.
You smiled, his happiness was contagious, "yeah! I'd like that."
"Do you wanna go now?" he nervously asked.
"Oh! Um, sure! I don't have any plans."
"Cool!" tentatively he reached out a hand to hold yours. Upon realizing this, you clasped your hand within his and then looked away blushing furiously. "You're still adorably shy, aren't you."
"I'm not adorable." You tried to deny.
"Come on, let's go get some ice cream." Luka declared and the two of you walked hand in hand out of school to get some ice cream.
"Woot! Go (y/n)! Go Luka!" the two of you heard (f/n) screaming from behind.
