Adding peach liqueur to the classic mint julep makes it a delightfully different drink that is perfect for hot days because it is cool and smells great.
Ingredients: 2 oz bourbon. 1/2 oz peach liqueur. 4-6 fresh mint leaves. 1 tsp sugar. Crushed ice. Peach slice and mint sprig, for garnish.
Instructions: In a julep cup or glass, muddle mint leaves and sugar together. Add bourbon and peach liqueur, then fill the glass with crushed ice. Stir gently until the glass frosts. Garnish with a peach slice and a sprig of mint. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
