Hey guys! It’s me, Mint!

I’m just wanting to remind all y’all who have been around for a while, and also inform some of you newer folks that this account is essentially here for archive purposes, and that new content hasn’t been, and won’t be, posted here.

However, last year, this month actually, I moved over to Wattpad! I’ve discovered that the format works a lot better for me there, and since the move, I’ve not only written more one-shots and expanded and added to some old favorites, but I’ve also started up some long-format stories that update by chapter/part, which are still ongoing as I write this!

It never ceases to amaze me that I have such an amazing group of followers here, and I am sad that I had to make the jump, but the organization of Wattpad and the way I can collect stories is just so much easier to navigate!

I haven’t been able to completely move all the stories from here over yet, as I still have plans to update them and tie them together better in a single book (In doing that with one longer story, Shangri-La, I realized that I swapped POV in the last couple parts without realizing it, whoops). As such, a few are still missing from Wattpad, but I absolutely have plans to move all of my original writing content over, albeit with updates!

The only thing that probably won’t be making the move is my fanfiction, The Venom, as I’m unsure about copyright issues and such. For now, that will be a tumblr exclusive, but depending on how things go, as I’m still learning, that might make the jump as well!

Art won’t be going, though, as Wattpad is a writing site, but it’ll all still be around on here. Not planning to delete the page, don’t worry! :)

Hey guys, I need to make some funds real quicklike, as my bf’s job didn’t pay him properly this week due to a weird software issue, causing his paycheck to be literally fifteen dollars. 

As such, both of our phones have been turned off because we couldn’t pay the bills, and this also means that most everything else is extremely difficult to afford right now.

My solution is that I’m going to be selling some older OCs of mine that haven’t gotten much love lately. I figure they might be better suited to a new home.

The link above goes to a Google Doc with all of the available boys. Some you might recognize, others maybe not.

All payment will be in the form of a Paypal Invoice, sent from myself to you. After payment, I’ll send you a Google Drive link for all of the files I have of the purchased monster boy, usually at least one image and the .SAI file, layers intact if it has any.

I really appreciate your help in this, as it’s really thrown us off. It’s not really the company’s fault, as they’re trying to upgrade their systems, and this is one reason why.

If you’d rather not have to deal with the adoption process above, there’s also my Ko-Fi.

Anything will help, to be honest. There’s a full two weeks before my bf’s next paycheck, and my only income if through commissions or the like, and I can’t quite open them just yet due to a handful of things taking up a lot of my time.

I’d also like to thank the (slightly older) asks that followed a similar vein that I hadn’t seen until tonight! It warms my heart to hear from y’all.

Though my content might be changing a bit, and I have NOTHING for a queue, at all, I’m still working toward trying to bring you quality SFW monster content.

As such, I’m sad to say that a lot of the blogs I had been getting my images/art from don’t seem to be around anymore, so I’m having a slightly more difficult time filling out the space. It’s why reblogs have been a bit spotty.

I was considering adding some lighthearted things here and there (like the gift art post earlier today, possibly with just cute stuff later), as well as possibly reblogging prompts and writing tips to fill the queue a bit more. It’s the best thing I can think of since I’m not really posting my content here anymore.

More likely than not, I’m just going to be reblogging things instead of posting anything I, myself, create.

I’ll probably be posting links to the other places you can find me now and then.

As it stands, I’ve been only posting new works on my Wattpad for the last seven months. (since the December Tunglr dumpster fire)

And I’ve also got a Twitter , but I’m still not particularly active on there yet. It’s taking a bit of work for me to adjust, even after all these months. I’ve also got to add more people to follow there so I have more things to retweet. Overall, it’ll just be those retweets and the like, as well as links to new Wattpad stories when I post them.

So, after an extended absence from here, I’m coming back on a sort of trial basis to see if I might enjoy using this site again. 

As a note, I’m not certain how much or often I’ll be posting, and more than likely any new stories I post will be exclusively on wattpad, as it’s just such a better medium for writing than here, and double posting takes way too much energy.

For now, though, I’m back, and am absolutely touched to see that so many of you have stuck around. Thank you all for your time and attention.

I’ll more than likely be uploading new stories and continuations to Wattpad before anywhere else from December on.

While no longer an extension of my tumblr, I am making terato-themed dating sims and the like, with feedback opportunities for all supporters.

The game development content posted here is ONLY posted here, and it’s the only place to follow my progress and, depending on your support tier, get your own character to appear in the games.

Ko-Fi - themintymonster

Currently functioning as a tip jar until I can investigate the way they’ve updated their services with ‘Ko-Fi Gold’.

From what I can tell, it may function like a streamlined Patreon, and so may end up becoming it’s own feed once I look into it more.

I am looking into Pillowfort, as I really like the straightforward interface they’ve got going on, but they’re currently not accepting new registrations.

As mentioned on a previous post, I will not be making an Archive of Our Own (AO3) page, as the Terms of Service showed me that it wouldn’t be a good fit.

More likely than not, the above are the only places I’ll be creating further online presence, as I simply don’t have the energy daily to keep up with over half a dozen sites. It’s unfortunate, but true.

Another (actually) fun fact: I’m planning to expand on some of my stories when they are transferred over to Wattpad. Such as “The Passage” and “The Junker”, (which I already have a part 3 worked up for, but I’m not really happy with *just* yet). 

I may actually do re-writes of some of my stories and lengthen them a bit, or simply change a few things around like formatting. It won’t be all of them, probably just a few of my favorites that I’ve been wanting to expand upon.

As it is, I’ve got the month of December’s stories already scheduled (a few reblogs and one new story) so even if I do happen to update on Wattpad this month, I won’t be updating here until January.
