‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎  it   was   simple   conversation   until   it   wasn't.   recently,   that's   how   it   was   starting   to   feel   anytime   blue   conversed   with   alexander.   his   charisma   was   shocking,   and   his   face   was   captivating…   but   blue   wasn't   like   many,   nor   was   she   comparable   in   the   slightest.   but   she   was   also   human   at   the   end   of   the   day…   and   right   after   being   a   human,   she   was   a   woman.   with   feelings.   feelings   that   were   hard   to   explain   to   anyone   else,   they   were   especially   hard   for   herself   to   digest.   so   when   he   had   his   moments   of   being   vulgar…   she   always   sorta   shifted   to   silence.   but   this   time,   this   silence?   it   was   hard   to   break. was   it   hard   to   break   because   it   was   an   impossible   question,   with   an   even   worse   answer?   or   was   it   hard   to   break   because   it   was   comfortable   to   be   the   quiet   one?   because   she   didn't   have   to   provide   much   for   him   to   still   be   satisfied   with   himself   at   the   end   of   the   day.   all   she   had   to   do   was   sit   there   and   he'd   still   find   some   stupid   way   to   smirk   and   continue   talking   like   nothing   happened.   she   didn't   know.   she   also   didn't   know   just   how   long   she   had   been   sitting   there   silent,   mainly   because   this   was   a   frequent   pattern   between   the   two.   he'd   talk   and   she'd   listen,   because   most   times   they   conversed,   he   was   the   one   leading   the   conversation   and   somehow   never   ending   it,   but   this   felt   different.   especially   because   she   noticed   that   she   wasn't   the   only   silent   one. 

                    howeon  is  tired—  and  not  just  in  the  literal  sense  .  for  the  better  part  of  two  days  ,  his  clinic  has  been  overflowed  with  appointments  and  walk - ins  ,  barely  able  to  keep  his  head  above  water  or  eat  a  couple  of  bites  from  his  lunch  .  he  drags  his  feet  towards  the  apartment  ,  rubbing  a  hand  over  his  face  in  an  effort  to  wake  himself  up  a  bit  while  punching  in  the  code  to  enter  .  howeon  kicks  off  his  shoes  and  sets  down  his  bag  ,  entering  the  empty  apartment  for  the  umpteenth  time—  or  at  least  ,  so  he  thinks  .  he  hears  some  commotion  in  the  bedroom  and  grabs  his  only  available  weapon  (  an  umbrella  )  ,  and  goes  to  investigate  .  the  door  swings  open  and  howeon  raises  the  umbrella  ready  to  strike  ,  until  he  sees  se - jeong  standing  there  .  ‘  yah  !  ’  he  calls  ,  lowering  the  umbrella  .  ‘  why  didn’t  you  tell  me  you  were  home  ?  ’
