since a lot of you will be liking the thing, you should know what is it about:
it's a screencap from animated movie Fantastic Planet/La Planète sauvage, production design was made by Roland Topor, i've seen the whole thing and it's one of the weirdest things trust me
it's a story about giant aliens living on this strange planet together with tiny humans and they are basically treating them like animals/insects? it's pretty brutal and it's definitely not an animation for kids
it's based on the novel Oms en série written in 1957 by Stefan Wul and it was ranked 36th by Rolling Stone on the list of greatest animated movies ever, it also receiver special jury prize at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival
it's very surreal and full of pretty disturbing images, also very allegorical, but the way it's made makes the whole animation really worth watching, i watched it as a part of my design class and it's a must see position for everyone interested in art imo if not for the plot or the message then just for the sake of the images
also, the screencap mino chose to post is the scene when the Oms (little humans) are called "really cold-blooded/cruel animals" (cr.)
