AnimeDetour 2016
It was my first time in attendance to Anime Detour 2016. I was excited to see what Minneapolis had to offer in terms of cosplay and I was not disappointed. There were so many quality cosplays there’s no way I could document them all. The structure of the con was particularly interesting in that there were booths in a sort of indoor courtyard, which also served as a cosplay meetup and dining location. Those without badges were free to roam this area of the hotel and really take in the sights and sounds of the convention lifestyle. I, as always, adored the merchandise room and was amazed by the talented artists located here in the Twin Cities. I look forward to Animinneapolis in a few weeks, where hopefully I’ll get some pictures of some fabulous cosplay and some footage of some amazing panels.
