Released with the Minisode 1 album, October 2019.

It’s a cute little song (unless you’re super pedantic about consent and toxic masculinity - but even then, this is a translation, we can’t assume anything).

My love for the line ‘Where in the world did you hide it... Give me your wishlist,’ knows no bounds. 

If we look at it how it is supposed to be - a cute song about desperately trying to find your best friend/crush’s likes and dislikes, as the time towards their birthday gets closer and closer and you just want to get them the perfect gift! And then you get more and more stressed as the day gets closer, and you’re holding on to every word they say in hopes that something will drop, and you’re staying up at night thinking, and in the end it’s just all too much and it bursts out of you in one go, and you demand they tell you what they want, so that you can make them happy.

There’s a lot of emotion there. And I like it a lot. It’s the next stage on from ‘20cm’. 

Maybe I need to make a second TXT playlist which is just the ‘youth’ storyline which runs parallel to the ‘supernatural’ storyline...

Why, O why, Hitman Bang, do you have to make it so complicated?
