Some knitting magic. I'm using the same pattern for the Forest Socks with one of my favorite colours combo. When I make my mittens with these two you always like them, so it was time to make also a pair of socks with these colours. What do you think? When I was about to finish the last shawl I knitted. Give me an off white shade + mustard and I'm totally yours. For this pattern I used a mix of yarns and they work pretty good together. I still have to block it, but I've already worn it the other evening. I don't know how much I will be able to use it right now because here is pretty hot this week. I want these comfy warm socks back. Sadly I made just one pair and it wasn't for me. I need to make others for the next Winter. You will see a lot of this work in progress in the next days. I'm working with Ulysse by @dererumnatura in the shade baleine bleue and lots of my special water (a little bit of coffee, a hint of rice milk and tons of water, what can I say? I like it and it keeps me awake during the long stockinette part :) I want to knit something similar for me, but for the Summer and I can't find the perfect yarn for it. Almost time to switch to a cotton blanket. You can find the pattern to knit one for yourself in my shop. I made two of them and sew it together to have a huge blanket so I can use it also on my bed or for a picnic (the cotton is recycled and it isn't afraid of the washing machine). On the blog today I share my point of view about sustainable fashion and how I shop. It's an introduttive post and I'm thinking about sharing more in the future.
