A fractal with some cycloids.
Ignition
Another very old image. In this one, the fragmented effect is coming from the fractal formula itself, in combination with coloring algorithms that were probably intended for use with some other category of fractal entirely. I like the contrast of textures.
It’s also a shirt.
Silk scarves would be a really good use for symmetrical images like minibrots. So far I can’t decide if the border on this is ok, or if it’s too unrelated and distracting. Square scarves often do have borders, and I like them, but this one doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe if it went all the way to the edge?

South Transept
One illustration style that’s very popular lately is simple, friendly shapes with a sort of ink-and-watercolor look. Very minimal. It makes me wonder if I’m going in some completely wrong direction, because the kinds of things I like to make are more of a cross between an opera house and a Gothic cathedral.
