#mini puff

Tummy filled, we proceed down to the basement of Causeway Point for shopping. We passed by Sunlife Durian Puffs & Pastries and mum wanted the Mini Durian Puffs (迷你榴莲泡芙). Bought a box of 20 pieces which cost S$18. The puffs 🧆 are filled with 100% pure D24 fresh durian puree, with no additional mix-ins of cream or sugar. If my memory served me right, it used to cost just S$12 but over the last few years, the price had steadily gone up. I just heard from my colleague, they closed the outlet at Causeway Point! Now, the nearest outlet is about an hour and the half to get to and come back. ☹️

When durian is not in season, we indulge ourselves with the Mini Durian Puffs (榴莲泡芙) from Sunlife Durian Puffs & Pastries. What we liked about it is that the durian filling is not adulterated with cream so you get that pure durian taste. The seller told us to keep this frozen if not eating it soon, but I know the best place for them is in my tummy. :D

Bought a box of 20s Mini Durian Puffs (S$14.80) from Four Seasons Durians at one of the food fair in a shopping centre. The puffs are filled with durian cream, not pure durian puree so these just doesn’t make the cut in the taste department. Moreover, they are smaller than those from Sunlife Durian Puffs & Pastries.

These Mini Durian Puffs (S$12 for 12pcs/S$18 for 20pcs) from Sunlife Durian Puffs & Pastries are filled with 100% pure D24 fresh durian puree, with no additional mix-ins of cream or sugar. No wonder these king of fruits choux pastry puffs had become my family’s favourite after meal snack.
