Gluten free mini Burgers (sliders)
I’ve really got a taste for these burger buns. They are so fantastically quick to make, and really brings me back to back when it was simple to get a burger that wouldn’t make me ill. They don’t taste or feel like a normal bun at all, so don’t judge from expecting that. I still guarantee you will enjoy it as a great alternative with a personality all of its own.
Gluten free Hamburger scones
3 dl gluten free mix (I used Schär Pattisserie)
1/2 dl sesame seeds
2 dl milk
1tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp oil
Quickly combine first all the dry, and then the rest of the ingredients
Fill cupcake tins to about 1/3 - 1/4 (they should not rise above the edge)
Bake at 200C for about 10-15 minutes or until golden and when a toothpick that you insert into the bun comes out clean
A quick way to make mini hamburgers:
I mix the meat with some spices, maybe chopped up onions or pickles, sometimes an egg, some cream and a bit of oatmeal. Then I push them into the same muffin tins as used for the scones and bake them for about the same time and heat, or until set and with clear juice piping out.
