Halcyonian Love is a mini bingo dedicated to the romantic relationship between Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, specifically Top!Steve/Bottom!Bucky. There weren't many events for this specific ship dynamic and we aim to change that!

💌 Rules

→ No minors allowed due to the explicit/mature themes that will be featured in participating works.

→ Please remember that switching and polyships are not allowed here. Ex: Steve/Bucky/Sam, Steve/Reader/Bucky, Steve/OFC/Bucky, Steve/OMC/Bucky, Steve/NBOC/Bucky, and any other variation.

→ However, Bucky/Steve/Bucky and Steve/Bucky/Steve are allowed. Work whatever author magic you'd like to get more than one version of our lovely captain and his sergeant in one universe. The world is your oyster.

↳ You are allowed to combine this event with other organized bangs, bingos, fests, etc. as long as the requirements are met.

→ Please use one square from your card per chapter/fic.

→ Your submissions for this event should be new and never seen before content. A new chapter in an already in progress fic is acceptable. A new installment to an already in progress series is also acceptable.

→ Word Minimum: 250 word

→ "Choose not to warn" fics are absolutely allowed, just please tag your works appropriately. We don't want to restrict your creativity with this event either. This means dark fiction and anything that will warrant the additional "dead dove: do not eat" tag are welcome! Yes, including that trope.

No lie, God the Bounty Hunter comes to mind for most of these, especially "Casually Flashing a Gun".

But since these are going to be one-shots not linked to any existing works, I'm thinking it might be a good chance to write for characters I haven't written much for. Characters that don't yet have their own masterlists. Or for new characters. I'm open to suggestion.

Hey, all; we promised more to come, and here it is! Two big announcements in one short post. We’re rolling ahead into some fun stuff for the middle of the year, and and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.

Birthday Bash Bingo Event

We are going to run a modified mini bingo to celebrate our favourite Avenger’s birthday with two full months for this mini event!

What is it? The Birthday Bash is – like our usual once a year event – set up in the bingo format. The big difference is that, in this case, it’s a mini-card with nine birthday-centric items in a 3x3 format (as opposed to the usual 5x5 full bingo card). The idea is to work the birthday-themed prompts into your creations, but fanworks do not have to be birthday themed (though it’s awfully easy to fit “cake” into a birthday themed fanwork).

When is it? And when can I sign up? The event starts officially next Thursday on the 18th of June, and cards for signups will be sent out on a rolling basis beginning that day. The even will run until the 20th of August. This is truly a mini-event, meant to be short and sweet for a few months of fun! It works out to nine prompts over nine weeks; do one, do them all, it’s up to you.

Sign-ups start now and will run until August 1st, so you have time to think about signing up.

Who can sign-up? Anyone. Whether you’re on every bingo you can find, or even if you’ve never done a bingo event before, you can sign up. With only nine items (all SFW as the cards are pre-created), this event is meant to be fun and casual. There’s enough to stress about in the world right now; this is for funzies!

What’s the catch? The only “catch” is that you complete one prompt during the two month period if we send you a card. It could be any kind of fanwork, but we do ask that you participate if you sign up.

Is this running at the same time as the amnesty period? Can I do both? Well, would you look at that; it is. And yes, you can participate in both! Since we are re-opening for submissions, we thought this would also be a great time to get the mini event going; we’re all here for it anyway, so why not offer opportunities for new content creation?

What about the regular Clint Barton Bingo? After talking with mods from a few other Marvel-related bingos, including @winterhawkbingo, we are going to be starting the full Clint Barton Bingo a little later this year, with sign-ups beginning in late October or early November. There will be some changes regarding the length of the bingo’s run time; we don’t want to overload you amazing creators by overlapping with too many other events.

You do not have to participate in the Birthday Bash to sign up for the full CBB later in the year, and signing up for the Birthday Bash doesn’t lock you into doing the full bingo. You can do one, or both!

Did you say ‘Discord?’

We typed it actually, but – you read that right – Discord. In order to make updates and information accessible to people who might not be on tumblr as frequently, and to offer an easy and direct route to the mod squad, we will be opening the Clint Barton Bingo Discord concurrently with this event, starting on Wednesday, June 18th.

The discord will initially be open only to individuals actively participating in a bingo event. You can sign up by clicking right here.

Announcements and information will still go up on this tumblr; the discord server is just one more way to check in with the goings-on for Clint Barton Bingo.
