GRATS! I got so desperate trying for one of my own that I rolled a DK on an RPPVP server just to avoid the CRZ competition, so I completely feel your long delayed joy. *g*
I was about to do that, myself! But I had an alt there, at least, so I just decided I'd check every time before logging in to my main. And this time it worked! I'd done almost a complete circuit, killing the other battle pets in the area, and was landing back where I'd started, and there he was!
I almost felt bad, because there were like ten other players camping, but they were all over the main pools and he was by the top left one, where I always start and stop my loop. So I snagged him! And thankfully had a pet that was weak against magic, so I could make sure and not kill him by accident.
He's poor, but there are the battlestones if I want to make him rare. And even if there weren't, I'm just happy to finally have him! My roommate got hers immediately, the first or second time she logged in looking. But she has ridiculous pet and mount luck. She got the blue drake the very first time she clicked on the chest in Occulus, too!
