I think, instead of changing the wild rabbits design in minecraft, they should make the big fluffy redesign what rabbits turn into after being tamed.
like, you know how when you tame a wolf or cat, they get a collar? (Or how ocelots used to turn into cats if you tamed them before that was changed).
I think the rabbit redesign should work like that.
the wild bunnies hop around like their little skittish selves, but if you feed them enough golden carrots? Boom, suddenly you've got a big tamed rabbit at your feet.

there will be a new look for bunnies in minecraft !!!!
they're so much more friendly looking! They also have new hopping animations and feel much more rabbit-like! I'm really excited about them!!
The new one is the second image. The tail is more giant! The nose is flat and the ears are not angled anymore. I think that the various biome specific colours are kept but I don't know for sure.
