Extremely Happy.
I don't even know what to say. For some reason I was just overwhelmed with happiness, and I wanted to talk. Seeing the sunset driving home from Fort Lauderdale just makes me realise how lucky I am. I'm lucky to have the opportunities that I have. I'm lucky to have met the people I have met. And I'm extremely thankful for them too. Wanna say that I love everyone I've met over the weekend. You're all beautiful people.
Over half a million dollars could be MIA as the organizers of a failed Minecraft convention refuse to explain what they did with all the ticket money--or why they've deleted their website and Twitter account.
Ionno why this makes me laugh.
All right, I keep hearing about this "Dashcon" business and from what I've seen so far, it reminds me of the "Minecraft Convention" incident that happened here in Florida a couple of months back, I think around the end of March. I was currently attending Megacon, and didn't hear about this until the day after I attended it.
Apparently there was supposed to be a Minecraft convention for kids and their parents to attend, but it was all a huge scam and many people got ripped off and lost a lot of money. (from the pictures of Dashcon, it REALLY reminds me of the Minecraft convention from the pictures I saw on the news when it happened) If you want more info on the incident, click here
I feel bad for these people, because NO ONE deserves to have their money stolen and their what was supposed to be a fun time ruined like that. So I guess that's just my take on it, really.
