So as we face the possibility of increased isolation from one another I can highly recommend taking up a craft to protect your mental health. Studies have shown that art and crafts can alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression and loneliness, so while others are raiding the supermarket shelves, I recommend you go out and get some art supplies. They don’t have to cost the earth and can be as simple as a colouring book and some colouring pencils. Or if you’re not the arty type then why not try to learn a new language, there are some great free apps out there such as @duolingo and if you feel you need to talk to someone @mindcharity have some great services. Personally I’ve got some new cheetah fabric so there’ll be plenty of these in my shop and I’m thinking of learning crochet.
