Why we endorsed Sule Lamido

After painstakingly examining the current socio – political situation in the country, and after a thorough screening of all aspirants eyeing the Presidential ticket come 2019, former Governor Sule Lamido ranks highest among all the potential presidential prospects, judging by his giant strides in all spheres of human endeavours as former governor of Jigawa state, former Foreign Affairs Minister, his detribalized disposition, national appeal, innovative ideas and open mindedness. We have come to the conclusion that Nigeria currently needs a detribalized President like Lamido for real national integration and total abolishment of discrimination on ground of ethnicity, religion, class. And encouraging Lamido to contest for President in 2019 will tremendously help in nurturing our democracy and broaden the political space. We will like to use this medium to assure Nigerians of Lamido’s readiness to serve our dear country with passion and dexterity, carrying all Nigerians along for national progress. This is the time for a leadership that understands the dynamism of Nigeria, this is the time for objective, humble and honest leadership that will eliminate nepotism. Our decision is borne out of Lamido’s patriotism. This is the time for us to promote unity, because Nigeria is one people one nation.
