Tennis was one of those sports Sassa’s parents had dumped her into to help with college applications - you need a wide variety of extracurriculars to stand out to admissions, honey - and even though she was now in college, she couldn’t manage to make herself give it up. Even though she had never had a true passion for it, and her talents - while decent - didn’t compare to the top people on their team. And now that Greer was missing, Sassa was suffering for it. So lovely. Another thing to thank Greer Morrison for. She had been tapped to fill in for Greer with Milo on doubles, and it was easy to see that it was not going well. “We’re new partners. I think Coach will understand there’s an adjustment period,” Sassa pointed out to her sulking partner while they were taking a break, dropping her water bottle back to the side of the court, her entire attitude petulant in response to Milo’s. “You don’t need to be such a dick.” 

Imogen shrieked as the goat's tongue made contact with her small outstretched palm and the two ran away from the pen, giggling incessantly. The sight of her children enjoying themselves so, seeing them as carefree as she hoped they be throughout the divorce proceeding warmed her and brought the slightest of smiles to her lips. 

Without much thought, Margaux approached the sheep’s pen and stuck one of her manicured hands hesitantly in. One of the white balls of fluff came trodding over only a moment later and brushed up against her hand. She resisted the urge to pull away and instead let her fingers sink into the creatures wool. It was soft, warm, and the action brought a genuine smile to her face. She looked to the person beside her, her face still lit up as her fingers worked through the wool, “I really don’t see why we can have petting zoo here every weekend.” // @milocallum

Miguel woke up at 5:30, just like always. Even though he had a little much to drink last night, and had ended up awake much later in the night than usual. Even though what had kept him up was a relatively strenuous activity...

He looked over at Milo and smiled. Thankfully he was still in his elemental form, with handsome long horns and glowing complex glyphs. Miguel leaned over, opened the drawer of his nightstand, and got out a miniature notebook. He very carefully copied the glyphs of Milo’s hands. Those were what he could see at least - and two seemed like more than enough. Then he put the notebook away and kissed Milo’s hard shoulder, which was surprisingly warm.

“Hey handsome,” he said softly. If Milo wanted to sleep some more that was okay. But Miguel was going to get up and make breakfast. “If you’re awake tell me what you want for breakfast.”

He waited for a moment, then got up and started his morning ritual. First a shower, then clothes - he picked up the bedroom a little while he was at it, putting his own shed clothes in his hamper and folding Milo’s and leaving them on the bed. Then he went to the kitchen, fed Molly, and let her into the yard.
