Everyone comparing new turtle tot eyes to when the turtles were mind controlled in Parasitica. Me: yes. I thought of this too and at first was weirded out (before I thought of this episode) But then found out that baby turtles have huge dark eyes. And they ARE part turtle. This is around the time when they were first mutated from tuetles into more humanoid. So yes it makes sense

...how would things be in their world? ... probably nothing good. Cause if Donnie hadn't lept out on the first night they visited the surface, they wouldn't have found April and rescued her from the Kraang. Then the Kraang would be a bit closer to their goal in changing the world into their personal playground. Mutating everyone on Earth. Leaving the turtles to stay trapped in the sewers and eventually captured? Who knows. What we do know is that they are lucky that Donnie had taken action to save her when he did.
me today while not planning on watching the future tmnt episode:

(I doubt they’d mention Mona much outside of what she might be up to? I mean, it looks like there’s going to be a lot of new story elements there might not be enough time to talk about EVERYTHING that has passed during that time. (it’)s only three episodes-though apart of me thought it would be three hour long episodes... not holding my breath though) )
After looking at that Raph and Mona hug, I'm realizing just how much he needed that hug. Last time he thought he saw her were hallucinations that turned into nightmares (or him ending up making out with a bug then instantly freaking out when he came to) it was probably implied that he might not be sure he would ever see her again now that they've returned to Earth. and this is most likely the first time he's seen her since... Well, the end of season 4. When a lot f sadness fell upon his whole family. How much he needed to hug her. ...sorry I just put a bunch of sadness into that one scene.
…I love the leo moments in this episode. From the surprising way he handled Raph in the beginning to how he handled being called from The Swordsman, to especially the way he helped patch up Mikey (and gave him a drink ^u^) while telling Karai they needed her help. I just love Leo this season so far. And i CANNOT wait to see hoe he and Donnie will be like in Heart of Evil.

Rewatching tmnt space arc intro and... they have a foreshadowing for everything. Leo driving alone on the mini ship. Donnie looking over the damage of the ship (in the first episode) Raph fighting Armaggon on the ship. Mikey facing the Insectoids on the ship and the alien pizza (again, in the first episode) And! Lets not forget~ Dregg getting shoved/ejected into space!
Me: sigh we don't get many Leo and Donnie moments... Tmnt scroll of Demodragon gives them first bumping in the sewers and later has Donnie checking on Leo in the dojo. Me: I'll take it!
Everyone including me when first hearing of a reboot tmnt: please do not, I repeat, do NOT make it like Teen Titans Go! Me later: ...is it going to be like Half Shell Heroes Blast to the Past? Because I would be okay with that one.
