Probably around episode 4? That’s when I started thinking about it, at least.  When Miles tells Tom “I could kiss you” and looks at him pensively/sadly and stuff.  It’s mostly Miles feelings that were the driving force behind Mitmas lbr

my thoughts:

PRECIOUS PERFECTLY BALANCED POLYAMOROUS RELATIONSHIP OF MY HEART.

What makes me happy about them:

The way that all their various personalities/backgrounds balance each other out and the fact that they’re all really good friends by the end of the series, so in theory it wouldn’t take much to go that one step further...

What makes me sad about them:

The fact that realistically (ew) it would probably never happen in canon/at that time and Miles will be sad forever

things done in fanfic that annoys me:

This is not applicable bc only very few people even write mitmas fic and those who do are Very Good.  (tbh fic where Miles ends up with anyone else other than Tom[+Kitty] but that’s just me)

things I look for in fanfic:

I’d say fluff, and I mean, fluff is great and all, but what I really really want is pining. Especially Miles pining. I’m such a sucker for angst, it’s awful

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

I’m ok with just having kitmas or momas, but not much else tbh.  I’m very focussed on these three all being happy together in one way or another

My happily ever after for them:

Living in a nice house, possibly in the country, somewhere near lots of trees anyway, with Sylvie and any other children/animals they acquire.  

who is the big spoon/little spoon:

Generally Kitty feels uncomfortable with too much physical contact (she can feel trapped) so usually she’s on the outside with a hand curled over one of their chests and holding the hand of the other, while Tom and Miles spoon (and fight over whether they’re big spoon or little spoon EVERY TIME)

what is their favorite non-sexual activity:

Cuddling on the sofa

How I feel about this character:

Sometimes she annoys me (I mean I’m a bit of a Mary stan, sooo), but she’s pretty damn cool and like super journalist girl (which I really which we got to see more of)

Not really that bothered about any of her romantic interests tbh. Gregson was alright tho.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Edith and Thomas omg.  I know we’ve seen like almost none of them together, but that scene where they’re dancing at the servants’ ball? That was great.  And they can like, plot stuff together.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

, I think Edith’s a pretty divisive character in the fandom anyway, I don’t think I have any particularly strong opinions that would be really unpopular

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

That her and Mary would actually move past their differences and get along a bit more (but I will admit that this is more due to Mary being a bitch than it being Edith’s fault. Seriously, Mary, just stop antagonising her)

a headcanon fact:

She stole Mary’s toy dog when she was younger and buried it in the garden and wouldn’t say where it was for two days and that’s why Mary started hating her.

I opened the window the other day because it was hot and a wasp came in. Not exaggerating when I say it chased me round the house for a solid ten minutes. I trapped it in the hall eventually. Think (hope) it found it's own way out.

idk, Cora confuses me sometimes. She's just a confusing person. I don't dislike her though. Also Bates.  I still think he's shady.

All of them a bit.  The character development/arcs are just really inconsistent.
