To say that Hatsune Miku is important to me would be an understatement.  I first found her when I was about 10 years old and I loved her instantly.  I’ve loved her ever since and I’ve met many amazing people because of her.

When I draw her, I feel a certain connection.  I feel that what makes her so special is that nearly everything that involves her is fan-made.  It makes me feel more of a creator than a fan in the end, and it’s a very nice feeling.

My best memory is of my first Miku concert. It was Miku Expo 2014 in L.A. and the moment I finally saw her on stage overwhelmed me with emotions.  I had wanted to be in that very spot for years and years before and I was finally able to experience it! It was amazing and I hope I can have that feeling again sometime soon.
