Crystal spider, crested basilisk, nether ray - whoever you want to answer for (any/all)
Crystal Spider - What are your characterâs thoughts on technology? Or do they prefer to use more primitive tools?
Jezi is open towards technology, but hesitant. Sheâs not a big fan of experimental or shiny-new, not because sheâs against it, but she simply knows that she doesnât have the aptitude for it and doesnât care to meddle with things she knows sheâs likely to fuck up. Sheâll use technology thatâs been around for a while and well-tested, though; teleporters and rocket travel and the like. She can use guns, but sheâs not as proficient with them as bows, they still havenât made one that isnât too loud for her liking, and some little animal part of her brain really doesnât like setting off an explosion that close to her head. Thereâs body parts even a troll canât grow back.
Crested Basilisk - Is your character stubborn? Is there any wiggle room when it comes to changing their mind?
Mihoto is probably the most flexible of the three. Sheâs young, not very combat-tested, and has grown up in the ranks of the druids where little in the way of interpersonal conflict really exists. She hates conflict and is usually willing to go along to get along. I donât have Akaashe nailed down very well on this point, but being a protadin, thereâs definitely some righteous fury going on there, but she might be kind of gullible.
Jezi makes small adjustments easily when it comes to situations, but not larger things. If she believes something needs to be done, sheâs very flexible about how it happens and making concessions to get things done, but sheâs very hard to convince out of a real goal. Sheâs also deeply pragmatic and likely to apply Occamâs razor to damn near anything.
Nether Ray - Does your character have a good sense of direction? Or do they get lost easily?
Jezi is better at remembering where she is and which way sheâs supposed to be going; Mihoto doesnât remember as sharply, but sheâs very good at figuring out where she is when she doesnât know. Akaashe mostly sticks to mapped roads because her chosen solution is likely to be âwalk until you find a thing, ask it for directions, either follow it or kill it depending on response, repeatâ.
