Let's do my new oc, Mihoko!!! She's a outgoing, easily angered, and joking child. She actually knows how to be serious when the time calls for it, though. Whenever she is in a fight, when it's something that is emotional to her she just rushes in without a clear plan, but she does try to come up with one whenever she can. She's the ship fan child of a ship, but I won't mention it since I know you're not a huge shipper:).
Azu’s immediate thought process: Smol, smol, SMOL!
Azu has this thing where she can view others as “small” (not always in terms of appearance or height) and in need of protection, and being quite fiercely protective of these people she tends to keep an eye on them. While Azu seems quite aloof and indifferent, she’s a lot more aware of her surroundings than you think! She has increased hearing so she can hear most people's conversations even when they’re farther away, without meaning to and while some might think she can’t see through her bangs, she CAN. Perhaps not as well, but she has a sharp eye for things going wrong.
With that said, she’s going to inevitably go into mother hen mode around Mihoko! It doesn’t matter how much Mihoko tries to insist that she doesn’t “need a babysitter”, or that she’s strong, Azu won’t budge. God forbid if someone threatens Mihoko with Azu in hearing range, cus they’re about to get their ass handed to them. Azu will carry Mihoko around a lot! On her shoulders, piggyback rides, over her shoulder when she drags the lil brat out of a fistfight.
When magic vanished, humans somehow found a way to replicate it in a way that could restructure Papilio, down to technology and even its population. Wouldn't take long for artificial magic to be used as means to alter people's appearances as however they wished, and they became even more dependent of it. Featuring my OC Mihoko today, have a snippet of backstory of her home world Papilio (and in turn, a bit of her own)

June 2018: Geiko Mihoko (Nishimura Okiya) of Gion Kobu on her way to an engagement.
Mihoko had her Misedashi in early 2001 and her Erikae on the 30th of May in 2005 and should be either 33 or 34 years old right now. She is the most senior active Geiko currently affiliated with the Nishimura Okiya.
