At this point I'm firmly convinced Mifang would propose to each other at the exact same time.
A surprisingly short amount of time into their dating, Fang suddenly offers Mi-an to go get dinner at the Blue Moon. They get there and Fang's booked the best table, complete with candlelight and rose petals and what have you. They're both oddly quiet during the entire meal, at some point Mi-an goes to the bathroom to calm down but the tension hasn't eased one bit when she returns.
When their dessert comes, Fang finally speaks.
"Mi-an, I... We've known each other... For some time now..."
He stutters through his whole speech. Mi-an isn't sure if he's proposing or breaking up with her.
Finally, finally, he gets up, gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring.
"Will you... Marry me?"
And...
Mi-an bursts out laughing.
Fang silently panics. This wasn't in the script - is this even a possible response to a proposal? Does it mean yes or no???
He holds his breath for the whole three seconds it takes Mi-an to dig around in her pockets and pull out...
A wedding ring.
Fang keeps glitching until Mi-an catches her breath enough to shout way louder than she intended:
"Of course I will!"
All the tension evaporates instantly. Fang catches Mi-an's laughter. They throw themselves into each other's arms. Behind them, the other customers of the Blue Moon start clapping and cheering and neither of them notice. They put their respective wedding rings on the other's finger and go to finish their dessert.
And they lift the rest of their drinks "to our marriage".

You couldn't make a "me and the bad bitch I pulled by being autistic" post about mifang because they're both autistic and neither of them would ever call their partner a bad bitch
Hi, @mytimeintown here (sideblog so 'anon' is less abt obscuring identity and more just keeping my base/main blog url from confusing things lol)! Ugh the gameplay timeline to lore timeline conversion is kicking my ASS
Cause like if I try to convert the MTAS calendar to a more realistic one I do a x3 so I end up with 28x4 = 112 days in a year, x3 = 336
365-336 = 29
I have a FULL FUCKING MONTH LEFT OVER
WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS MONTH
- "Actually, doctor, there is one thing I wanted to ask you", Mi-an said hesitantly.
Wait, hold on, what was she saying?
Fang turned around to look at her and cocked his head.
- "Could you check my teeth? I have one in the back that really hurts, I think I got a cavity."
Why was she saying that?
- "Oh?", he said, already carrying a stool over to one of the beds in his clinic.
- "Yeah", she confirmed. "Because of how sweet you are."
Fang stared at her blankly. Mi-an felt her heart pounding in her chest and blood rushing to her cheeks.
Really, why did she say that?
- "Just kidding! Sorry! Bye!", she shouted as she ran out the door.
Stupid, stupid Mi-an. Stupid Elsie for putting this awful pick-up line in her head.Β
- "It's not that bad", Elsie assured Mi-an.Β
The two of them had retreated to a table at the back of the Blue Moon saloon. Mi-an had her face buried in her arms, which she rested on said table.
- "Not that bad? Not that bad?!", she shouted. "I totally embarrassed myself! He probably thinks I'm super lame now! Why did you have to put this terrible pick-up line in my head?"
Arvio snorted. "Eh. Knowing him, he didn't even get it."
- "That's worse!", Mi-an whined. "You do realize that's worse, right?"
