the confession scene is everything to me. i think this is one of my favourite confession ever and personally i dub it as confession of the year!! i've been wanting to resub it for awhile and its so worth it.

i can suspect that blade already had vague feelings towards mc but i would never guess it started as early as The Reach. and the fact Blade even gotten sick = adjacent falling in love is pretty damn sweet. attraction so strong that you physically fell ill? pretty romantic to me

and of course blade is a worrier, pretty apparent on his interludes scenes but when he brings it up during the confession i really want to shake him. when he said he's preoccupied, distracted and can't sleep because hes so worried my heart really shatters - mc will try her best to be alive but being a godspawn doesn't leave her much choice. she will had to go somewhere where blade can't reach.

now cue the current chapter on mc facing the battle alone. i wonder how blade will react when he knows what's happening. with shepherd's compound being in that state, mc being taken to the sun court with a suspicious guy he hasn't met yet. he will probably beyond devastated but he need to focus on his organization first... he still has duties to his people after all 😭 poor guy's heart is on shambles i assume, shatter even. and he already even said this in his confession!!!!!! the foreshadowing, it already happened sooner than blade expected for sure 😭😭
