well...i've gotten older. i mean, i can legally drink now, which is pretty rad. i've made some pretty fucking awesome friends. i'd like to think i'm a better writer now. i've realized that the older i get, the younger i act. i think that pretty much covers it.

Questions:

1. What was your very first ship?

Honestly, this is a tough question. I think the first ship I knew was a ship was Catherine Zeta Jones' and Antonio Banderas' characters in Zorro. It literally took me by surprise when I was informed they were, in fact, married to other people. But if it was the first couple I ever loved in anything ever, it would definitely have been the Ariel and Eric in the Little Mermaid. I watched that movie dozens of times a day as a kid. By which, I mean I broke the tape I watched it so often.

2. What is your favorite weather?

I like sunny with a breeze and some light cloud cover, preferably in Spring.

3. How long have you been on tumblr?

Jeebus, maybe a year? I'm not actually sure.

4. Favorite vacation you have been on?

Once I went on a beach trip with my cousins and we rented a beach house on Emerald Isle. I really enjoy the beach - when you're in a good mood, it's fun. When you're in a bad mood, it's relaxing to listen to and to watch. If you're pissed off, you can go for a walk and have endless beach on which to vent to someone. We also went crabbing - which is literally crab fishing with little cages. I always enjoy fishing though. Though I've been to this particular beach front dozens of times, it was a lot nicer without the entire 45 people in our extended family.

5. If you were a teacher, what age kids would you want to teach and why?

Kindergarten. After all, at that age, you can still corrupt them without getting much lip. And sure, you might get a few messes to clean up and plenty of crying, but at least you won't have to deal with that dick student that just exists to piss you off and didn't want to take the class in the first place.

6. Best teacher you have had, what grade, what subject, why did you like them?

Oooh, gonna have to say my third grade assistant teacher. She just helped out but she's the nicest person I've ever known. When we all graduated from the grade, she invited us to her house for a pizza party in her back yard. I'm still in touch with her on and off. She's seriously the nicest person ever.

8. Favorite fic? (of your own or by someone else)

dmhfgjdhgfjdfh what I have an entire rec list for this purpose why If I had to pick just one, I would have to say I Used to Live Alone Before I Knew You by etothepii because omfg Good Omens world plus Sherlock, with all of the characters still ACCURATELY IN CHARACTER. And I just... did I mention Good Omens?

9. Saddest fic you’ve ever read?

Alone on the Water by Madlori, hands down.

10. Have you successfully converted friend(s) to one of your fandoms? Which fandom?

A while back, I converted a few friends to Supernatural. We marathonned through the first five seasons in a month or something like that. During seasons six and seven, they had a bit of a falling out but we'll see if they tune in for season eight. And I've converted four or five of my internet friends to Sherlock.

11. What band/music genre were you brought up listening to?

My dad's big band was The Beatles and I grew up listening to that all the time, alongside classic pop rock.
