Visual experiment made in DaVinci Resolve with visualizations imported from MIDITrail and FLStudio’s ZGameEditor.

MIDITrail
"MIDITrail" es un reproductor de ficheros MIDI que permite la visualización en 3D de conjuntos de datos MIDI. Con este programa podemos disfrutar no solo escuchando sino "viendo". MIDITrail soporta el formato SMF 0/1, y múltiples puertos MIDI. Está disponible tanto para Windows como para Mac.
Notas
Requiere DirectX 9.0c. Se recomienda que el ordenador tenga gráficos de alto rendimiento para una animación suave. Si las bases de datos MIDI contienen muchas notas, el software probablemente necesitará más rendimiento de los gráficos. MIDITrail funciona bajo licencia BSD.
Instalación
1. Extraemos el archivo ZIP y ejecutamos "MIDITrail.exe". 2. La primera vez que ejecutamos el programa deberemos configurar el puerto de salida MIDI. Seleccionamos "MIDI OUT..." del menú "Option", luego aparecerá "MIDI OUT configuration". Por lo menos, debemos seleccionar el dispositivo de salida MIDI de "port A".
Uso
Seleccionamos "Open..." del menú "Archive", aparecerá el cuadro de diálogo Open file. Finalmente elegimos un archivo MIDI estándar (*. mid). Podemos seleccionar el modo de vista de menú "View". Existen hasta 3 modos. No se puede cambiar el modo de visualización durante la reproducción o pausa.
