#MidEngineMonday #MR2uesday. And across the pond, a wild #SW20 has appeared. • These shots were taken at a track, where this particular #SW20 did some racing laps. It looks like a serious track car, with flares to accommodate meaty grippy tires and massive chassis mounted wing out in the back. And the wing, ah yes, that looks mighty familiar. And it isn't its final form...

#MidEngineMonday. • I've been pulled over 14 times (so far, knock on titanium), and had the engine lid popped 9 times. None of them resulted in any ticket. Aside from being polite and courteous, having a relatively stock-looking engine bay helped a lot from getting ref ticket. Don't get me wrong, I like chromed/polished engine bay look, but I just can't have it in my car. • That being said, David Sparks @snow_white_mr2 's engine bay (done by @johnxed @wakar1ma5en @_majsn over at @ETLGarage) is one of my favorite engine bays. Toned-down, low-key, almost OEM looking engine bay looks clean and simple, and most likely will get the owner away from tickets. David's #SW20 has Gen4 engine, Air-to-water intercooler, rolling on Regamaster, with other goodies. • #SoCal #MR2OC #MR2 (at ETL Garage, Inc.)
