It’s time again for the annual Mid-Autumn Festival which is celebrated by Chinese everywhere around the world. This year, the festival falls on September 21, so that means that you will be finding these lovable mooncakes all around the city. Giving mooncakes to loved ones and friends is an expression of appreciation and best wishes, so if you want to brighten up someone’s day, King Chef is offering mooncake gift sets as well as their Mid-Autumn Feasts this whole month of September.

The Birthday Noodles (P350) come with bouncy egg noodles topped with seafood, chicken, vegetables and quail eggs in a generous serving of brown sauce. This is good for 2-3 persons but I think I finished this all on my own.
I was so excited to eat the noodles that I had forgotten to place the brown sauce (left) on top of it first! But that’s okay because the sauce and the seafood items are actually good enough to eat by themselves. The noodles also go well with the Wanton Soup (P230). This is a comforting bowl of soup filled with flavorful pork & shrimp wantons.
There’s also the Fried Five Spice Rolls (P240) which has flavorful crispy fried, five spice rolls that you can slice and serve as viands. The Fish Fillet Taosi with Tofu in Hotpot (P380) is also one of my favorites with its tender fish fillet in a delightful mix of tofu, vegetables and taosi sauce.
You can’t go wrong with the King's Style Fried Chicken (P330-Half). This is their house signature crispy fried chicken oozing with flavors. It also comes with prawn chips and a sweet red sauce dip.
