This recipe for easy fudge is a tasty treat that doesn't take much work. A microwave and a few simple ingredients are all you need to make rich, creamy fudge that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts if desired. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm. Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the fudge out of the pan and place it on a cutting board. Cut the fudge into small squares or rectangles. Serve and enjoy!
