#microsoft is garbage

So is Microsoft in general. Shame on them, using underhanded means to keep people from unsubscribing to their services or getting refunds....

I preordered Sea Of Theives last night and started installing it but I had to stop because my husband wanted to go to bed for work. So I stopped the installation and turned off my laptop and went to bed.

I woke up this morning to restart the installation and the Microsoft Store claimed that I had never preordered the game. I checked my bank account and sure enough they took $63.74 from me. I clicked on buy thinking maybe it’ll just automatically start the installation again like last time because I preordered it, right? Nope, they just took another $63.74 from me without a word.

I contact microsoft and they pretty much told me that I can’t do fuck all until the charges actually clear and if they do, then I have to have a lengthy phone conversation with the claims lady at my bank to get my money back and even then that’ll take a few days.

I just wanted to play Sea Of Thieves with my husband.
