By the by, Raven’s Wing Clothing (a clothier in the Society for Creative Anachronism) is looking for funding.  I’d never heard of “ifundwomen.com” and think it’s an interesting take on the concept of microloans.  If you’re interested in period clothing, it might interest you (and the proprietor also does inkle/tablet weaving, which is pretty interesting all on its own -- if you’ve never heard of it, I highly recommend checking out Elewys of Finchingefeld on YouTube but make sure you’re fortified with tea and snax, because it is a delightful rabbit hole).

We got approval from kickstarter.com to launch a fundraising campaign the other day. This is incredibly exciting and nerve racking at the same time.  Kickstarter's style of fundraising sets a definite time limit on fundraising and requires all or nothing funding.
