Parker, as they have been named, looks remarkably healthy and confident. I had concerns about compatibility with the puffer fish but Parker seems more concerned with hunting for snail eggs and algae. Honestly, I expected to see a lot less of this small, shy fish but they seem to be acclimating beautifully. I love that high dorsal fin, it's so expressive :)
New pea puffer tank. Pablo and Penny have picked opposite corners to lurk in and be very upset that their available space has suddenly doubled.
The oldest micro-tank I have. Crystal clear. It’s all about the tiny filter.
Micro tank staying super clean with the carbon.

Much needed maintenance on one of the micro-tanks. Because of it’s size the amount of maintenance needed for these things is incredible. So much more then if I had a singular large tank. Always keep that in mind if you plan on having a tank of this size... and never never never keep vertebrates in something like this. Not even a beta. It’s 750ml. Way to small for most animals. In mine, I keep some worms, copepods, a few tiny pond snails, some water lettuce and a marimo moss ball. That’s it.
I’m putting activated carbon in this tank as well. You can see how covered in algae it was. Should help keep all the things sparkly clean.
Cleaned this shelf. Reduced the number of micro tanks I had running to only ones that I could filter. Even gave the cookie jar a working over.
