So! David here once again! Tonight was the Beta testing phase of our Lego in D&D run. The pics above show the progression of the campaign (We cleared the entire area of enemies) We learned two important things.
Number 1: Using a single peg for 5 feet creates too much hassle for putting people around an area.
Number 2: We are awesome and this a great idea!
Using the Lego builds as a 3D map gives you better ideas for line of site, better representation for cover, and getting the Kreo microfigs is perfect for wanting to customize your character.
Bug Fix: Instead of using a single peg for five feet, we will be using a 2x2 flat piece with a single peg in the center on the board for movement squares and for better areas. We will continue to use Kreo and Lego microfigs for the campaign and let you know how it goes. Also by using the 2x2 flatβs with a center peg, the Kreo Microfigs can be further customizable in game.
