150 words - Agent Jack "Whiskey" Daniels x gn!Reader "You" (no physical/racial descriptors) - mentions of drinking, that's about it

“You sure you wanna do that, sweetheart?” 

The deep voice swept over you as you downed your third shot of tequila, screwing your eyes shut to drown out… everything. 

Pairing: Javier Peña x GN!Reader - no pronouns like he/she/they, no physical description of reader apart from having soft palms.

Javier sits opposite you in the crowded bar, the worn booth pressing indents into the soft skin of your palm. Strangers to each other, but the promise of a night worn thin with old lies and new secrets shimmering between you.

Now as he lays there he is fearful of the door. What if a servant came in? What if a servant even knocked? Would Thomas wake before the door was tried?

His fears creep up his spine, shame burning his cheeks, but before he can rise and dress a mumbled “Good morning,” comes from beside him. It is calm and sleepy and devoid of fear.

Thomas shuffles up against him and kisses him. There’s the feel of skin rubbing against skin, in all the places he’d only dared imagine. 

Thomas nuzzled his neck from behind, gently thrusting into him and not yet willing to let him go. 

“I could fall asleep like this,” he murmured.

“It’s all right, it’s ok...Thomas!”

The words fall automatically from him and he’s up, trying to touch Thomas, to wrap his arms around the leaner body but Thomas fights him, bewildered and jarred from his dreamscape into reality.

Finally James has him, holding him and speaking in a low, impassioned tone into his ear. Thomas hears his voice and his body responds, muscles softening under James’s caresses.

“It’s all right. I’ve got you, you’re safe with me.”

It is more productive, he thinks, when he doesn’t, especially when James does not want to face him.

Curled into his side on the bed, he weeps quietly. Thomas presses close behind him, soothing hands on his bare arm and leg. He tastes warm freckled skin here and there. James’s sobs gradually cease. He lets out a tired sigh that his whole body seems to settle with. At last he rolls over. Thomas has already wiped the tears away. James kisses him on his brow and lets it linger, putting all the unspoken thank-you’s that will never be enough into the kiss.
