let’s see…

my first real “ship” ship was ron x draco from harry potter. ahhhhh, memories.

when i (finally) started reading harry potter, a friend and fellow hp lover started telling me about this thing called “slash fanfiction” and i found the idea immediately intriguing, so i started seeking it out. 

i looooove the ‘hate turns to love’ trope, so naturally landed in drarry land first. it…was not my thing. 

i love draco. he’s an asshole. i love him because he’s an asshole–and in every drarry i’d read (granted i didn’t read many), the author had ‘tweaked’ draco’s character so much that it wasn’t draco anymore. he was just some blond boy who was slightly haughty, and there was always some excuse for why is was the way he was. plus, i just didn’t like harry and draco together. it didn’t feel right for me. also, it didn’t involve ron, who is my favorite hp character. 

next, i tried some harry x ron, which was better, but what i’d read didn’t have that *gnarls fingers* NNNNNGH element that i really enjoy. 

AND THEN I STUMBLED INTO RON X DRACO. i was hooked. HOOKED. it had everything i wanted: my two favorite characters, two people who don’t like each other, yet they manage to get under each other’s skin like no one else. THAT REALLY BUTTERS MY EGG ROLL. 

i don’t actively ship them anymore, but ron x draco will always be precious to me. 

4) favorite character you’ve written

loki. it’s always loki. 

i mean, yes, thor is the Love Of My Life, but in fic? loki is such a JOY to write. he’s so twisty and contrary and he can be so much fun

but to answer, i have never done enemies to lovers because…as much as i LOVE that trope i don’t have the staying power to write it

BUT IF I DID IT would probably be something along the lines of a plot straight out of b99 – that arc where jake and amy had this bet that whoever could make the most arrests

so yeah, thor and loki both as detectives. THOR WANTS THAT D but he’s too…whatever to just come out and say so, so he challenges loki to the bet. loki loses (but only by one arrest) and has to go on a date with thor. the whole precinct teases them, but they’re good-natured about it (none of that “that’s gay” nastiness)

so they go on a date. loki is DETERMINED to hate thor and be miserable on this “date,” but LO AND BEHOLD he actually ends up having fun in spite of himself and the night goes well UNTIL loki gets a call from his landlady that his cat Miss PeanutBrittleJones somehow got out of the window and got herself caught in a tree so they have to cut the evening short

never one to leave someone in distress (and also hoping to score some nookie points), thor insists on going back with him to rescue the cat. thor climbs the tree (”i’m a champion tree climber”) and gets Miss PB&J down (not without several scratches to those big…meaty…arms…). loki patches him up later and then walks thor out, he closes the door, and thor is bummed because he thought he made An Impression. BUT! just as he’s heading to the stairs, loki pops back out and kisses him good and hard.

thor grins. “does this mean you like me now?”

“i don’t know about all that, but… i don’t hate you.”

“that works for me.”

A ship I don’t like that most people don’t? Probably Mollstrade (Molly Hooper/Greg Lestrade from Sherlock).

i saw some dumbass leak that said the series would end w/ bran being crowned as the knight king. it's so bad but then they also said brienne died in jaime's arms and i was like 'well that's cancelled'
