Michael Money - Beyond Unbroken/ex-Escape The Fate guitarist Hi my name is Clea and I want to go on record with this. Todayâs date is May 23, 2020. I knew Michael Money from summer/fall 2009 to spring 2011. I want to start by saying I am not looking for clout by posting this. It really did happen whether you want to believe it or not. I am not using my real name because I run a business and donât want this attached to it at all. Â Mostly I am telling people this in hopes this person does not harm someone else. I never spoke out before cause I was scared of the backlash and felt it was my fault for a long time. This is something I regret not speaking up about sooner. I hope he did not do anything similar to anyone else. Since this was so long ago I donât know if I have an exact timeline of everything. I had forgotten for a while until the recent Dahvie Vanity investigation. I honestly do not know exactly how I met him, possibly through mutual friends. Â I used to be a fan of Escape The Fate (starting in 2008) and he joined sometime between Warped Tour 2009 and their fall tour that year. Â They were playing at The Wiltern on November 21, 2009. I donât remember what the tour was called or who else were on the tour. I had obviously met him before this tour cause we had exchanged numbers at some point. We had plans to hang out at the venue at some point that night. I remember we were texting and I got annoyed cause I had waited a long time and ended up leaving and going home instead. Michael had sent me unsolicited dick pics over the time I knew him. I was never interested in him and never led him to believe I was. Someone invited me to come to a secret show Escape The Fate was performing at a strip club called Crazy Girls in Hollywood where they filmed a live video for âCity Of Sinâ. Â A bunch of the people ended up going over to a rock bar nearby called Angels & Kings. I went to see the band a few more times in 2010 and 2011 then stopped going after a specific incident. He happened to be in Hollywood after we were all hanging out at one of the bars. My friend, some other dude (not sure if he was my friendâs friend or Michaelâs friend) and I end up going to the hotel Michael was at to hang afterwards. I think the hotel was behind the Hollywood and Highland Mall or nearby. I wasnât really feeling like drinking that night and had another friendâs dog with me. At some point my friend and the other guy had disappeared without telling us. Â Michael tried making me a really strong drink and I didnât want it so he tried to force me to drink it. I still refused to drink it. Â He wouldnât let me leave the room and then kept trying to force himself on me and Iâd push him off. My friendâs dog kept getting between us and growling at him. Â He is a pretty big, strong dude but he eventually gave up. Since he wasnât letting me leave I waited until he passed out before I snuck out and walked home. I blocked his number, blocked him on social media and never spoke to him again.
