Beginning our decluttering journey in preparation for trying to move next year & to have a more organized space in general. It’s something we keep wanting to do but always put off— we spent years toting this stuff around and really the only reason we’re holding onto it is because we’ve spent so long having only the things we could keep hold of and drag from place to place.
But honestly we don’t use these things, we never put them out, they live in boxes. And the aesthetic we want to cultivate is so different now. So it’s time to clean out our closets and begin to invest in things that contribute to what we want our space to be and how we want it to feel.
Tonight we started at the hardest point by absolute coincidence: plushies 🥲 It’s so easy to want to keep every plush but there are So Many plushies I want and we already have Too Many. So it’s time to let these guys go to a thrift store to find new homes. Managed to find 20 plushies that we really just aren’t attracted to enough. So yay success 🎉
Vent did try to claim a few though. He loves plushies so much
