I barely register the way he’s watching me before my back hits metal and the lockers shudder behind me. His hand clamps at my waist, solid and unapologetic, leather and muscle closing in until there’s nowhere left to move. The look in his eyes says he’s used to taking what he wants, and for a split second I let him think he has me pinned. My pulse pounds between us as my hands slide up his chest, gripping, answering the pressure. When our mouths meet it’s not surrender — it’s ignition, bodies pressing harder, steel vibrating at my back while neither of us gives an inch. He may have thrown me against the lockers, but I’m not the only one burning.
