A Mibraltar Fic
The Gun Show (1,094 words) - A03 link will be in the RBs as usual. If you like it, reblog it <3Â
Makoa swings by the Apex gym and gets roped into watching a weight lifting competition...or...he simply admires Elliott while he works out.
It was hard not to notice him. Elliott Witt just had one of those attention grabbing personalities, and a presence that could light up the dullest of rooms. He always turned heads, whether it was because of his dashing good looks, or because he tripped over his own feet on the way in; it was part of his charm. The only problem was, as soon as your attention was on him, it was extremely hard to look away - which was exactly the problem Makoa Gibraltar was having right now.Â
An Extra Moment
Mibraltar (Mirage/Gibraltar, 1,066 words) (Ao3 link in the RBs - Don’t forget to RB if you enjoy.)
Makoa and Elliott try to spend a quiet morning together, before returning to their busy lives.Â
Sleeping next to Elliott was an experience Makoa quickly learned to enjoy. The trickster often found drifting off at night to be difficult, always having a conversation topic in mind or an event of the day he wanted to reflect on. However, once he was asleep, he was typically out for the night. Makoa would occasionally lie and watch him sleep, if he found himself awake. Elliott had a habit of mumbling in his sleep, and he sometimes found amusement in trying to decipher what he might be saying, though he knew Elliott would normally tell him about any dreams he may have had the following morning. Like most mornings, Makoa had awoken first. He lay on the flat of his back, his gaze on the ceiling as he allowed his mind to wander aimlessly. He had woken up with his partner's arm slung over his stomach with his nose pressed against his bicep, so he could feel every breath he took, and he had no intention of disturbing him just yet. He knew Elliott would have to wake up sooner or later; he had some things he needed to take care of today. But for now, he was content to just lay here and let the trickster get his rest. In Gibraltar's opinion, if anyone deserved a good night's sleep, it was Elliott.
A Mibraltar Drabble
Because it’s good for the soul. (Ao3 link will be in the RBs for people who prefer reading there).
Elliott and Makoa decide to have a BBQ upon their return to Solace, but Makoa can tell the trickster has some things on his mind.
"Are you sure you don't want me to do anything?" Makoa asked, as he leaned back in his seat, the warm afternoon sun beaming down on his face.
He peered through his sunglasses towards his boyfriend who was prepping some meat to go on the outdoor grill. He was briefly transported back to fond memories of family BBQs, where he, his dad and cousins would fight over who cooked the best burger. Gibraltar loved cooking. To him, a home cooked meal was a sign of love and care, and brought people together.
"A warm meal is almost as good as a warm hug," is what mama used to say.Â
