Mingyu: âCoolâ (in Japanese)! Members usually donât praise at all so Iâm glad to get even a little bit of a compliment whether itâs a joke or serious.
Wonwoo: Mingyu is really cool when singing Trauma.
Vernon: I was just really happy when Wonwoo hyung said the way I was enjoying/loving music is really great.
S.Coups: For me when we released Back It Up, the members said itâs the coolest rap Iâve written so far.
VN: The rap really fits the beat so well and I thought âOoh~~â
WW: Vernonâs âOoh~~â is a big compliment.
SC: I know right, when I was playing games and I hear âOoh~~â I feel like I achieved something great (lol)
WW: Impressive word... what can it be. I canât think of one right now since itâs so sudden (lol). My personality is someone who isnât good at giving compliments or receiving them since I get shy about it.

Q: What would you like to say to your members?
MG: Iâd like to tell Vernon to always stay healthy. Health is the most important thing so I want people who are important to me to stay healthy.Â
WW: Thatâs right, we have to be healthy to make good music, perform well and also if the Carats are well. Both to the members and carats, if our tour and music activities are healing I would be really glad.

Q: What did you learn from your members?
WW: Vernon is always humming something daily. When I see him I feel like âhe really loves musicâ and I always get inspired by that.
SC: I started exercising after seeing Mingyu. You can see the results, he looks cool after exercising. After ten months I also have a better body.
WW: These days building body is the latest craze among Seventeen members so I started to do it too (lol).
VN: Me too, after seeing Wonwoo hyung I started working out as well.
MG: I want to learn Wonwoo hyungâs way of expressing his thoughts and intentions. Also Iâm envious of S.Coups hyungâs âif I decide to do it Iâll do it immediatelyâ mentality.
SC: Iâm the type to act quick (lol)

Q: When was the turning point for the team?
SC: I donât think there was any turning point in particular.
VN: Thatâs right. In terms of unity, there was more than just a single experience. Rather than having a single turning point, I feel that itâs more about how we have spent a lot of time with each other and shared the same experiences and the same feelings. Itâs not solely about the hip hop team.

Q: Glasses or hats, which do you like more?
VN: Hat. Specially beanies, I have more than 20 pieces and they are all kept in a special area next to my bed dedicated for beanies only. I really love the black and the striped pattern one.
