Mental Health Awareness Poetry Initiative 2026 Day 3!
Day 3: Optics
a new format again, this time i try a Concrete poem. it was hard cause my dumb ass thought to only use word and was too stuborn to use something ese. but it think i nail the vibe.
and for easy read here it is without the eye shape
(no creative picture cause im tired)
as for the content. i fouse alot on the feeling of judgment and being watch has well has some point about people just getting use to the judgement and to playing pretent. i be honets there is a deeper meaning i dont think people will see and i dont feel like saiying it. lets just day this one has layers and leave it at that. dont know if it fully fits the optics part but i try using a bit of the definitions i read.
Mental Health Awareness Poetry Initiative 2026 Day 2!
Day 2: Future
I try my luck with the format and try doing an acrostic poem.
has for the content, again is my personal view on the future, il be honest I couldn’t tell you what I was thinking while writing, all I keep in mind was "the future" and this word vomit came out. I don’t think I’m sticking with the mental health aspect on this one but hopefully next one I can stay on topic.
Mental Health Awareness Poetry Initiative 2026
my friend @alixx-black has been hosting this initiative for a few years and this will be the first time I join! made a new blog and everything.
not use to writing poetry but I try my best and have fun with it despite the serious topic.
anyways this is my entry for the first prompt "Hate"
This poem is based on my own struggles with hate, as it was always taught to me that hate is a "bad" thing to feel. but with time I learn that feeling hate is normal and natural. What we do with that hate is what determine who we are as people, not whether we feel it or not
