   My eyelids start to droop down. I’m already tired from walking around in the dark looking for my dog.

“Danni!” My mom yells. “We finally found him!” We walk back home, all I remember is falling onto my warm soft bed. I begin to dream…

                    It was dark, but bright enough to see the first couple of feet in front of you. The trees were all dead. It seemed like a fire had come through here recently because I could see the grass and the trees pitch black. It was an awful site. A big black cat came my way and rubbed against my legs.

“Hello my name is Dahvie” He grins. He startled me. “You can speak? Well Hello Dahvie, my name is Danni.” I say as I see him morph into a human. He was dressed in tight black pants, boots, and a black thin shirt. His hair was snow white, long and messy. “I know who you are, I’ve been expecting you my dear. The Dark Queen is in need of your assistance.” He says as he begins to walk on a glittery path. “Excuse me? I have never heard of this so called ‘Dark Queen’. Your obviously confusing me with someone else. If I may ask… Why does she need me, and who is she?” I question him as I speed up to catch up with him. He looks over and grins as though he was waiting for me to ask this question. He starts to circle around me dancing a little, he begins to sing.

   “Well the Dark Queen is the ruler of all this land.

Other villages are quite afraid of us,

While we hold hand in hand.

I really don’t know what’s all the fuss.

We are really quite normal just dressed in all black.

Our Kingdom is really great.

All we have is nighttime from back-to-back.

Since your chosen this is your fate,

I sing this sing with a smile.

But our kingdom is in grave danger!

We have our weapons ready in a pile.

Even though I know I’m a stranger-

The Dark Queen and Her sister Sapphire got into a fight.

Oh! It was an awful sight!!”

As the poem got to the end, he slowly stopped dancing, and began to walk again next to my side.

         We kept walking; I kept repeating the poem in my head. Trying to think what each part meant. Obviously The Dark Queen got into a nasty argument with her sister, but about what? It seemed that Dahvie could read minds because he asked me. “The fight my dear queen and her sister had was a terrible one. It began as though an innocent little tea party…  Her and her Sister Just turned 18, they’re identical twins, I have always been their Best Friend. One thing led to the next, they were arguing who should get the kingdom, Sapphire started to use magic on my poor Leda, and of course she doesn’t being called that. Anyway, Leda knew more magic than her sister. She took advantage of it and banned her from this kingdom. I kept in touch with Sapphire; she told me she was building her own Kingdom more powerful than her Sister’s… Over the years she learned more powerful spells, Leda has been experimenting, until she came across a book… about you! It was legend that you’re THE one, you know more magic then all of us combined.” Dahvie had a huge grin across his face. “Bu-Bu-But I don’t know any magic…” I stuttered. “That’s because you’ve been with the Immortals, You’re the 3rd child. The king and queen were saving the special one to conquer the kingdom, but sadly they both passes away and you were lost… Until now! ” He was still smiling. I on the other hand was in complete shock, all this time I could’ve been the Queen of This dark realm… “I’ll do it! I’ll do whatever it takes to defeat Sapphire! What comes first Dahvie?” I ask excited. He was smiling too, “Well, First off we at the Black Castle already.”             

He looks up and at the front gate, where the big, clear, dark marble lock.  He takes out a fancy big key on a string that hung around his neck like a necklace. Dahvie inserts it into the lock; the gate slowly starts to open. I take a step into the Kingdom. It was a magical sight, far better than what there was on the outside. The trees and plants seemed painted, possibly fake. The trees were all Neon colors, Bright happy colors. The grass was bright pink. From the outside it was all dark, foggy and spooky. It seemed as though there was a fake image was placed, so it would scare away unwanted visitors. Once your inside it’s completely different.
