Personally he's very skater / streetwear to me yet his outfits give country boy. It's probably an eoe thing tbh but I hate how it makes him look a lil homophobic 😔

Generally I don't associate his clothes with MAGA vibes because he's in them! His style to me is "he's just a guy" lmao.
I always associate plaid with the grunge and punk and emo days of the 90s/early 00s though it obviously also has its place in country/western/cowboy/Midwest culture.
Mike's shirt has a touch of whimsy that a homophobe could never pull off with its huge almost musical note looking numbers AND the fact that Jonathan Anderson wore it himself.

I wanna ask genuinely why we are obsessed with Mike. He is average, isn't it odd, what is it? My boyfriend literally is the same average as him lol is it because he's more attainable more than someone like austin butler or even young tom hardy or so we think because he looks so average or is it his charisma my sister watched challengers and was like he looks like most men but we blow his looks out of proportion why is it? I can't understand, Please, ladies and gentlemen, explain why we are so crazy down bad for this mouse?
I can only answer for myself but other people are definitely welcome to chime in: I also think Mike has a very normal, approachable looking hotness to him. Outside of his looks, I also think his charisma is very attractive and makes him even more handsome. I'm going to quote myself from a previous ask:
I think the thing that makes Mike "unconventionally" attractive is that he's very handsome but not in a Hollywood-machinery-he-looks-the-same-as-every-other-actor kinda way. He looks like a normal, approachable man who happens to be attractive and famous and have sharp cheekbones and very pretty eyes. He's gotten more attractive as he's aged also. I love to see that he's getting a little grey-streaked!!
In a sea of manufactured hunks, I like a man with a slightly asymmetrical face whose countenance suggests interiority and the passage of time and participation in gravity.
Now I also find in a few asks that I believe people blow his looks/pull out of proportion but idk. I think that just comes from being a fan and how that influences how you feel about a person. I mean, when I was in college I was convinced Benedict Cumberbatch was one of the hottest men on earth 🫣 and now I get a little fright when I see him unexpectedly.
I live near Mike and I can confirm he does have rbf and overall looks very somber most of the time!
