Keith stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering as he shifted from where he’d fallen asleep at the library table studying. He turned to look at Shiro and then yawned, sitting up and stretching. “I don’t wanna...” Still sleep dazed he pressed his face into the others chest. “Wanna sleep with you...” It wasn’t meant to be sexual, but it did almost sound that way considering how far Keiths face was pressed into Shiro’s body. “please...?” he mumbled, the question barely audible from where he was.

He didn’t sleep well at night here. His sleep was light and short at best because the noises of the ship kept him awake and allowed room for his own thoughts to drown him. So Keith gave up on sleep quickly when he wasn’t tired. He slept better after missions or long days, but today was not long or hard. It was peaceful so he couldn’t sleep. In replace of sleep, he just roamed the halls of the castle until he came upon a figure.
“What? Trouble sleeping too, Shiro?” he asked as he approached. There were very few people on this ship with the same frame as Takashi Shirogane.

Keith felt his blood boil. Shiro was hurt and not taking care of himself again and the young paladin wasn’t an idiot. It suddenly didn’t matter that he wasn’t wearing his binder ‘cause he’d planned on bathing, or that Shiro didn’t actually know about his biological gender yet. No all that mattered was his injured friend. Bandages and a small box of first aid kit supplies fell from where he’d been digging angrily in the cupboards. He whipped his head around and glared at Shiro, his purple-red eyes boiling with rage. “It’s fine?! Don’t lie to me Shiro! Those wounds are probably infected...don’t you care about yourself?!” He gathered the products up into his arms against his chest and then stormed over to where Shiro was sitting. He’d grabbed everything out of the cupboard and was now kneeling in the pile, sorting through it. He thoroughly ignored the others question on how he was doing. “Now sit still and let me take care of this!”
